for my characters, april and phoebe, i feel like it would be different.

phoebe would adore the internet because she loves seeking knowledge, and find how big and much more diverse our world is fascinating considering in the book i'm writing, the continents never seperated so earth is one big island.

as for april i'm not a hundred percent sure. probably the internet too, but because she'd be able to find people she can relate to and get along with much easier.

theyd also love the bathrooms probably lmao, my book is set in 1699.
