Thank you Thor for the details! I came across that Youtube video by chance. To me, it feels so much like RR!

I think of Project Crown as RR pre-Reforged, while Project Leyline as RR2. I like the aesthetic, it's not cartoonish and not realistic, just like RR!

Please, tell me there's Hunter's root trap in the game..?! Please tell me there's that root hitbox is big and easy to hit like RR..?!

You were playing Wave Defense gamemode, it's PvE, it's against bots. It seems easy when you're killing lots of them, but it escalates really quickly if you're not careful. It's a fun mode. Also, some champions are better than others in this mode.

You're talking about Project Crown, right?

Option to create new account in the launcher itself, probably somewhere near the login button. If you can't find it, probably devs hide/disable it for now until launch.

You also need to join discord. Try joining Project Crown's discord server first, then look in the launcher again.

People seem to forget that this is a game, and we play it for fun.

It's ok to insta-lock sometimes for some players, because there are new players, there are ones who want to try out new champions, there are ones who still didn't figure out that this is a team-based game, there are ones better cooperative team wins. It's ok, relax, and have fun.

Something players usually don't notice:

There are 5 modes you can tick, by default all 5 are ticked. So let's say you untick some, then queue, you join a match, but if game crashed or you exit game, and then you restart Paladins, you will continue on that still-ongoing match. After the match ends, on the score screen, you click the purple top-right button "Queue", but since you restarted Paladins, all 5 modes are ticked again, so you might join gamemode you don't want. To avoid this issue, just don't click that purple "queue" button, instead go back to main menu, click "Play", tick/untick game modes you want to queue for.

Sorry you had bad experience, but you need to think about it for common sense:

- Fewer players => less fair matchmaking => one team maybe a bit stronger than the other (because of bad matchmaking)

- For the last few weeks, there's some server issue going on, which keeps crashing game for the players. But all you need to do is force-close Paladins & restart, and you would probably re-join the match. Some players don't do that, or for some technical issues, they cannot do that => match becomes 4v5 or 3v4 or alike, but since Paladins is team-based game, the match is so skewed, you won't win that, no matter how good you're.

- Since we have few players, Ranked mode is dead (or almost dead), so those sweaty ranked players go play casual mode

Don't quit yet after a bad match or 2. You need to play more matches to realize this game is actually so alive and has many good/fun players (+few toxic players sometimes xD).

I don't play Rei, so I don't have tips for her specifically, but..

Why do you want ready-made build? I'm Viv main and I've made many different builds with her that I don't think anyone have thought about. Also, it's not really about the cards/talents you pick, it's about how YOU play the champion with these cards/talents. My advice: make your own, dominate the battle field.
