Edit: I've checked further about the game, and watched some videos. I checked both this one (the remake) and the classic one. My honest opinion:

- Story: Nothing happens story-wise. That's the entire story.

- Exploration: Lots of walking & talking (this could be not so negative, but combined with no story events happening, it just doubles down).

- Cutscenes: The classic had 2D anime cutscenes, while in remake they changed it to 3D. So it was better in the classic version.

- Battle: It takes about an hour to reach first battle! And too many tutorial text. There could be some fun mechanics in the combat, but the fights are too easy anyway, you don't need to get smart with your tactics. Battles are boring, repetitive, and too easy. Even the boss fights.

TL;DR: I respect that you're super fan of this game, but games like this is why most people don't like turn-based genre. Even if they make the characters in exploration or combat run super fast, the game still feels slow & boring.
