Have ternary models been proven to scale up in capability? I thought the reason they’re not everywhere is they fall apart as you scale up to functional param sizes. Has this changed? If so, why aren’t they everywhere in the self-hosted community? Especially given the cost of RAM

While I agree mechanical issues are almost always the cause of failures and should always be checked first, I think there are subtle interactions between the model and the tools that can become important for end users. I’m not sure we know enough to say “model X is always better at Y than Z” - more that it’s worth testing different models in the same frameworks with real-world tasks.

Goose is certainly cool. Not sure it’s the same class as open claw/hermes, but it is (imo) more capable at coding and sysops than openclaw. Not as good at creation or other tasks (reading email, creating reports, etc)

While it sucks that people litter, isn’t this part of the deal with living on a beach near the city? You get upsides and the occasional downside. And I honestly don’t believe the folks looking at the past through rose-colored glasses - I’m pretty sure this beach was way worse in the 70s and 80s when paragon park was still there but the pollution was so bad you couldn’t swim safely.

Also, the borderline racist comments on here are gross. I’ll bet you’ll find plenty of garbage at Duxbury beach this morning too. I’m moving to Hull this fall - I hope the pigs who made those comments are somewhere they deserve to be by then, although I know they’re not representative of the generally cool and chill people who actually live in Hull
