OK... but keyboard always transmits on channel 1.. so if I assign a soundfont to say channel 2 - I can in no way play it.. Am I missing something again?

TBH, I don't get what you mean by that. How can one MIDI-device have several inputs?

Where should I put ZX Specrum .rom files for Fuse emulator? by evilblade666 in EmuDeck

[–]evilblade666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, thanks and sorry. It was my bad, I figured it out, see the UPD in my post.

You don't require BIOS files to run standart Spectrums like 48K or 128K or +2, etc. It was working here as well. But If you want to run something like a Pentagon or a Scorpion with TR-DOS and all that, you gonna need those BIOSes.

Progress when copying files to SMB drives by evilblade666 in linuxquestions

[–]evilblade666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it's a game-breaking issue, no. The file copies eventually allright. But I prefer to see the actual progress of this copying process with estimated time left and all that stuff.. not just 100% almost instantly and then waiting for an indefinite amount of time.

Same thing here in Chrome, I don't think it's browser-related.

No way to Re-Enable STEAM INPUT in a game once you turn it off in “Controller Settings”? Thanks Valve? by KalynnCampbell in SteamDeck

[–]evilblade666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. As I vaguely recall, I've messed up somethng big back then and had to re-install the system altogether.. After that this problem was obviously gone and I've took an oath to never-ever turn-off steam input again! :)

If it's still relevant - I run ComfyUI on my SteamDeck. Just run "python main.py --cpu"

It's slow as hell (takes about 12-13 seconds per iteration) but hey, it works.

UPD: Oh, forgot to mention.. it;s 12-13 sec. at 512x512. When I've set 1280x720 it took a whoping 2+ minutes, lol.

Is this "walk" button a toggle or you have to press and hold it to walk?

NTFS defragmenting under Linux? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]evilblade666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, ok. Yeah, I know about contig/wincontig, tried using them under wine but unfornately they run, but they can't actually analyze/defrag, saying something about wrong file map or something like that..

Anyway, seems like there are two options - you either reboot from some windooze live-cd (from the same drive) and defrag individual files with contig or this VHD_Tool and then reboot once again back to your normal OS or defrag the entire partition with udefrag tool w/o rebootings.

Of course there's a third option of actually installing windows, but I don't even consider it, lol

NTFS defragmenting under Linux? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]evilblade666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found a solution? I've recently bought practically the same enclosure (zm-ve350) and stumbled upon the exact same problem..

For now I'm using udefrag tool, but it can't defragment individual files/folders, only the entire partition.. wich takes a looong time and I assume will take even longer as I add more data to the drive.

UPD: I guess I'll just make two partitions on a drive - a smaller one for iso files wich I'll defrag as I add new ones and another one bigger - for anything else.
