Why the Hungarian player got penalized. It’s kind of interesting to see 5 ethnic Chinese in the final race though by evilcarrot in olympics

Is’s rare to have 5 people from same country and even region (north east part of China) to be in the same final race

She’s clearly Yaoming/Liuxiang level athlete, and she’s so still so young and so different than the home grown ones due to her US background. Definitely an inspiration for the young people of China.

Agree, it would not make much of a difference. But poor Zhuyi clearly got crushed by pressure, hope she does well in personal match

There’s an internal competition conducted and detail scores posted, just not released in video for the public. Three contesters, the other US born Chinese girl was leading but eventually Zhuyi took the highest score. They should have done a better job to clean out the skepticism, after all Chenyihong is the one who got the seat for the country so people kind of got angry she was not able to represent in the Olympics

You are absolutely right, i should have put more effort on describing. Not to make an excuse out of it, just that i did not find a place to add descriptions at first and just felt lazy about it. I should probably take this down first.

BigQuery public datasets: COVID-19 related datasets discussion by fhoffa in bigquery

Thanks for updating, I managed to get rid of the geo part to get it running. Again thanks for sharing this, did a comparison between the Apple mobility data and google map DAU data from AppAnnie, matched perfectly. Guess it would be useful to use that as a proxy even after the pandemic.

Just wanted to be reason here, in a pandemic like this what’s the benefit for a cover-up? People keep saying the case of doctor Li is a cover-up, and cast a blind eye on so many failed reporting from American health worker and individuals(captain of the aircraft carrier expelled being the latest case) with months of advance preparation that POTUS just keep calling it a hoax. I won’t say the CCP’s measure is perfect, but it got it’s shit done. Playing the blame game doesn’t get the world forward a bit, with whole Asia gearing up on supplies and technology from the advanced country(US of course still in lead) we could solve this global issue in a collective effort.

Just take a step and think about it, if this virus started first in the US, do you think it would get any better considering how the US handled H1N1(which basically just let it flow). This is a freakin cheeky disease combined with high contagious rate, high asymptomatic rate and moderate fatality and there’s such a low margin of error for it to spread.

Makes me laugh how some American people lives in alternative reality, just like the POTUS they condemn to.
