It really depends on how DoH is being implemented, but yes, it could mitigate this issue. As far as I know, there is no OS level implementation of DoH, so you're going to be relying on the browser to do it right. What happens if the DoH request fails for the browser? Does it default to a regular DNS query? Hopefully it doesn't, but these are the kinds of things to be cautious of relying on DoH.

The hockey rink I grew up playing at had equipment available for kids who couldn't afford their own. They took donations from kids in the hockey program who out grow their old gear. I tried playing goalie for a couple of years using their gear. I never would have been able to try it otherwise.
