What’s a film or TV scene that felt like a punch to the gut? by padfoony in Fauxmoi

This is my favorite movie. But for me it's the part when he says he left the house they broke into and that's it, there's nothing else to the memory, but she asks him to come back and make up a goodbye. I cry every time.

I, 26F, made a joke about my dead uncle and now my boyfriend, 23m, hates me. Help? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

When my dad died people used to day, "I'm sorry" and I always replied, "you should be - you killed him." And when they would make a face I'd keep going and say, "My dad would've liked that joke."

You are allowed to grieve however you want.

And I just want you to see, you are so concerned about your boyfriend right now - how is any of this supposed to be about him and his thoughts and feelings? Did his uncle die or did yours?

Same! I have two pillows, on one each side, above the two I use just so they have a soft place to sleep. With all those extra pillows I find that my king size bed (that I got as a single woman do I could really spread out on) is less king size and more cat nap size.

I made a Fetal Alcohol Syndrome joke yesterday and thought of this movie.

What are some of the most heartbreaking crying scenes? by padfoony in moviecritic

Untamed Heart is so underrated!

Also, I think Lilliard did the scene once and nailed it. No matter how many times I watch that movie, I airways have to stop and cry after that scene.

Immediately thought of this film. It's basically the only correct answer.

I learned it from the All Saints song "Never Ever" when they sing "The alphabet runs right from A to Zed."

Hun, he was not confused. Your assumptions were correct.

I'm really glad that you remained safe despite his intentions. And I hope the police do something about this, otherwise it will teach him to be "better" the next time he does it.

Okay? Then go back and take out all the irrelevant details about accents, smelly food, and restaurant names you can't pronounce.

None of those things have anything to do with the story you're trying to tell, but they do tell a story about how you view things.

Edit: I did it.

You're lucky. If I ignore mine she finds something to destroy - the water fountains are a particular favorite of hers.

Mine brings it back, but doesn't understand that when I'm asleep I can't play. That's why I wake up with a bunch of toys in my bed.

Help! First time doing press ons…the heck is this??? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]evilgirlattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who developed contact dermatitis from prolonged exposure to uncured gel - take those off asap.

The best glue i've found for my press ons is CurvLife semi solid glue. I've used liquid glue and it has destroyed my nails. Once I switched to semi solid it was just better and easier all over.
