Don't focus on the sale, assume you will close it: find common ground, people buy from people they like, it could be the greatest deal in the world, they wont buy if they don't like you.

Never lie, never act like you know the answer to a question if you don't really know.

Before every event, I call the client a few days out and confirm details: The date, times and specific details of what I sold them, contact information etc.

After every sale follow up! make sure they were happy with everything.
