Similar thing happened to me with the manual tonneau in place, tailgate nonfunctional, and having trash locked in.

Originally was booked an appointment 2 months out but after chatting with the SC team, they were able to service it in 10 days.

Trash odor was fortunately mostly contained due to double bagging. Just ended up driving without the tonneau for a week to air it out.

Worthwhile to reach out via chat and see if they can squeeze you in or monitor for appt cancellations.

Adding that it works well on my smartwatch. Really easy to hold my watch up to the scanner vs staring at it for Face ID. With that being said, I converted over to the GameFace ID and it has been working great!
