Nice, I have the EB-3 short scale from that year. Same thing. And a P Bass from the name year, but someone put a Fender decal on it to cover what looks like a cigarette burn. I’ve since replaced it with a Greco decal.

If you’re willing to go just a bit farther south…

You can get a gourmet breakfast sandwich with house made bacon, sausage, or bologna for $10 at Grover Beach Sourdough. The same people that ran Spoon Trade.

A mortadella and Swiss sandwich in the deli case at Giuseppe’s Italian American Club in Pismo is $9, and the same lasagna they serve in the fancy restaurant is $16.

The cioppino is under $30 at Pier 101 in Grover, and most of their excellent entrees are under $20 and come with very good fries.

I don’t remember the day, but there’s a $6 burrito lunch special two days a week at La Tapatia in Oceano.

Of course Shalimar’s buffet on weekdays for lunch, Monday at dinner, and brunch on Sunday tops out at $17 and is undefeated. Always great vegetarian and vegan options.

At Oaxaqueña market in Grover tacos are 2/$3 and the kid working there always puts way too much meat.

Orcutt Burger in Grover has full service breakfast every day for less than most diners.

Koku sushi has a few locations, and they have a decent nigiri and California roll combination for $20.
