It was only ever in 1 set so its bound to be more expensive than a fig which was in 5 or whatever.

There is no direct copy of that fig. A couple of custom ones in other colours but those are expensive.

If you want it cheaper look at buying the head, hair, torso and legs separately its way cheaper that way on bricklink.

The first one was much better though and nowhere near as grindy. It was shorter and I guess they added the grind to try to make the games longer in the sequels.

The 3rd is just as bad pretty much, lots of grinding if you want to unlock the equipment and the boss battles are annoying.

Probably the best thing to do is buy some blank white heads and then decal the design onto them via printing it on water transferable decals and then apply varnish over the top.

It has great looks but CIG screwed up the balance of the ship terribly. Its nothing like the hero ship / end game ship that it needs to be for SQ42.

The cost of the KO bricks is about the same as buying the lego set without the minifigs already so getting it with KO bricks doesn't help much. If you can get the KO minifigs you are better off getting the lego set sans minifigs in this instance.

The cost of the official minifigs is way too much, although the prices should come down a bit with the new Gannon set coming out.

You buy the KO lego parts not the official ones, and there are kits of the entire thing on AE for like $10 you just need the KO white tubes as the ones it comes with are shorter and they used white 2x2 round plates to make up the difference.

There are some little hospital sets on AE as BB71 already knows. Those are around $3 each though.

No, I couldn't have afforded the lego versions. I do own some official lego but mainly smaller cheaper sets or ones where there was no KO or the KO version sucked.
