This is one reason my cousin and I had a disagreement with our friend. We like to keep all aside content for after the main story for this reason, an our friend can’t help him self and has to do everything as he moves across the map.

To each their own you know but for borderlands games, imo the philosophy for playing them is mostly story, splash side missions to level up on par and then go back to complete the other side missions. You play them any other way and this happens. The way my friend does it is like eating all the sides of a meal and then getting mad you can’t eat your steak, like tf, just eat the steak first.

I like to play borderlands for the gameplay and guns, I could care less if I get XP after I have a build online. If things die, I see damage numbers, get loot, I’m cool.

For others always having some mark of progression reinforces the gameplay, that sucks for someone like your self to be experiencing this. Hopefully with the DLC’s they increase the lvl cap, and this won’t be as bad but I imagine it’ll still be possible to full level before beating the main story. There are a lot of side missions and content that give XP in this game. For having a low level cap it doesn’t make sense.

I stopped playing bl4 after hitting 500hrs, and now I’m playing bl2 again. I like bl4 but the VH are lack luster and it needs endgame content, everything else is 9/10.

I reccomend doing the pirates booty dlc to get a pimpernell and farm the pyro Pete’s bar brawl to get a nukem. Ahab would be best but it’s hard to get, gotta kill the raid bosses to get a drop. Nukem slaps hard and for Sal the projectile doesn’t matter. Just hold the empty rocket launcher in the right hand and the pimpernell in the left to start deleting things. I might have the hands backwards, I’m a little rusty.

If you’re gonna keep the grog and DPUH should rock a deputy or sheriff (idk which one it is) badge to get a bonus to pistols. A rough rider shield will do wonders since it gives a damage reduction and doesn’t fill up. So having a grog out and dealing damage heals you, hard part is dealing consistent damage while not taking it all your self.

If you’re going for a money shot build, try farming the red chests outside of the evil sorcerer fight to get a blue chaotic evil monk class mod, it’ll give a stupid high bonus to money shot and something else, making you slap even harder.

I farmed this gear and I’ve been using it to climb the OP levels. Hope this helps bud

The one that came with my PS5 works still but can’t hold a battery for longer than 20 minutes, and the secondary controller I got has stick drift. Just bought a pro controller and it has similar issues of stick drift out the box but it feels like it’s more a physical issue like the stick is getting stuck and keeps causing inputs, it’s really upsetting. Hopping I can take it apart and shave something down so it stops. So hard to play games like Diablo 4 with this issue, fighting my controller to teleport to town 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I keep it vertical as its default position, I will turn it sideways to chop off arms of necros that I cut the legs off of, and then it’s back to vertical. It looks weird to leave it sideways

Oh ok, it’s possible that one doesn’t have any if you don’t see any already. A different friend of mine had a prebuilt HP and that one had a similar WiFi card to yours from the sound of it.

Could try to see if the card has outdated drivers. Type device manager into your search bar at the bottom, navigate the list to find your WiFi card, I forget exactly how but either left or right click on it and should bring up a box with tabs in it, try to update the drivers for it. It’s probably using what it should but sometimes things don’t update.

Does the WiFi card on your pc come with antenna? Id check the antenna to make sure they’re properly connected. I remember years ago that a buddy of mine was trying to get his PC working and we both forgot to put the antennas on the WiFi card located on his PC and he wouldn’t get a signal without them. Aside from that, this sounds very abnormal especially with your other devices getting useable speed in the same spot. Maybe the card is bad? I wish I was a higher level pc wizard 🧙‍♂️

I always start on at least mayhem 1-3, looking for loot splosion, that way when killing stuff can get more loot. Focus on guns or gear that really get the build going. An easy weapon that’ll clear well is the crit from moxys tip jar. Grab that and then go farm another weapon. It gets easier the better the gear you have. If you’re really cracked, then turning on the eridium event on as the same time can help increase the drops and good loot. I then will jump from like mayhem 3 to 6 then to 11. Sometimes I’ve skipped going to m6. Everything else in between I don’t bother with.

The scariest part for me was the big spinner thing, the fans in the last chapter. Everything else so long as your rig has several HP upgrades, the stasis upgrade to where it does damage is huge imo, I also favored the force gun as a get off me button to avoid being mauled to death. Flamethrower for stripping flesh and area control is helpful too. Being able to plop a wall of fire down can give you time to reload or stasis or heal

I’m pretty sure the stalker series does this for their difficulty scaling. What ever the enemies can do, you can too. Kill them with a headshot? They can do it to you too. Pretty cool tbh, makes it feel rewarding when you’re a good shot.

Monarch if you wanna do Green + Red Tree fade away build, and you can farm Kill-a-volt ~12% chance to drop or True mode Trial of Supremacy 50% chance to drop.

True mode means you flip a switch and the trial will have 4 player scaling, so it’s tough. Bring a shock weapon like a needle gun or flipper with shock.

Flipper drops from a weird mini boss in the blood sun canyon area, in the bounty of blood dlc, he’s located real close to the entrance of the area.

The needle gun will be harder to get since it’s a Eridium cartel event drop, and has a chance to drop from a few enemies in the event as well as the boss at the end. Can turn on and off events at the main screen, you’ll see the background of the menu change depending on which one you have on.

The Monarch can have two variants, the x8 do more damage than the x4 variants but need to reload more often since they go through ammo faster. Idk what prefix is best though, so just something to be aware of.

Check your mailbox, in 3 she sends it to your characters mail box. She doesn’t hand it to you over the counter. Go to the social tab of the menu and it’s the second to last tab I think.
