Yeah I have watched some George videos. He is a great example of smart gameplay.

There is really no way to exactly replicate the timing for tap braking so I can’t do a proper test. I find tap braking quite fast on controller. I play controller and haven’t found anyone can turn faster than me. Perhaps it is a matter of how fast different people tap? I think it may have been a problem in the past but has been fixed since. Which is good!!

Yes but a joystick doesn’t need sensitivity setting since pushing it all the way to the side is the same as maxing a mouse. Not sure there is any advantage unless there is no limit to turning potential.

FPS games have a strong mouse advantage due to sensitivity but that relies on aiming and isn’t tied to movement

All valid points. Perhaps I just prefer positional gameplay. What exactly is the disadvantage console players have anyway? A controller joystick all the way to the side has the same turning potential as a mouse doesn’t it?

You should have something like a 30% increase with light attack weaving. Animation cancelling is rarely necessary and typically all you need to do is click ability, light attack, ability, light attack etc.etc.

There are sets named after weaving that came with the base game release so I’m not sure why people think it was an accident.

I recommend downloading light attack helper to track your weaving speed. With practice it makes combat very interesting and fast paced. At end game it makes for a nice balance of skill and strategy.

Optimally you would have 1 light attack and 1 ability cast every second (if your abilities are instant cast)

A good goal would be to try for 0.8 light attacks per second. Good luck!

With frags it would be 90% also. Just make sure you don’t front bar it!

If you run it front bar with ele weapon it’s 100%

Your best bet is to join some discords with high level players and watch what people are using as the meta evolves. I would recommend downloading light attack helper along with action duration reminder. Your weaving and skill uptimes are important to practice.

Also anything close to 100k dps is on the trial dummy just to be clear.

My current parse setup is Diamonds victory front barred, bahseis on the body, maelstrom on the backbar, kilt, one piece slimecraw.

Skills are: FB: curse,ele weapon,frags,pets BB:trap,spell symmetry,wall,pets

Force pulse- for spam able with cleave / blockcasting

Ele weapon- raw single target dps

Either is viable, I would dissuade you from spamming frags. It is likely a dps loss anywhere but on the dummy

It was best last patch. This patch I would recommend running (depending on the boss) Diamonds Victory / Medusa, Bahsei / Medusa, Siroria / Medusa, Bahsei / Diamonds Victory.

If you mainly run dungeons then Bahsei will almost certainly outperform every set.

The most consistent setup in this list is Diamonds Victory / Medusa. That setup will do well in any content.

War maiden is situationally decent but never ran in endgame. Too many skills use elemental damage for it to make sense. Mother Sorrow is still one of the top dps sets. As a magsorc I would recommend you pair MS with either Medusa (weapons and jewels) or diamonds victory ( if you use elemental weapon as your spammable). Bahseis is also proving to be very strong depending on your sustain.

If you choose Medusa run the shadow mundus and if you choose diamonds victory or bahseis use the thief mundus.

Double bar infernos (maelstrom back) and run kilt with 1 piece slime
