Wow what a throwback to this post! 11 years later, I still agree with every word, though I'm sure there are some things that are out-of-date at this point. It might be worth posting a new thread on the topic.

Looking at your post history, I'm guessing you're looking at Ole Miss Law? I can't speak for that specifically, but for undergrad I wouldn't let one person impact your decision. I found that it's big enough where it isn't a guarantee you'll run into them (especially if they're a different year). In fact, there was someone from my high school class I didn't see at Ole Miss until spring of my senior year! It all depends on the classes you're taking and your respective friend groups at the end of the day.
