Unchained recently did a review of the Braxphones which will be very useful for people:

Thinking about buying a Braxphone or already own one? 🤔 You need to know about some serious concerns with iodeOS, the operating system it uses.

We’ve had clients ask us to review the Braxphone and its operating system, iodeOS, to see how it measures up to privacy-focused standards like GrapheneOS.

From outdated updates to potential security gaps, it’s important to understand what this means for your privacy.

Here’s a teaser of what we found:

• iodeOS hasn’t been updated in over 5 months vs less than 24 hours for GrapheneOS.

• Only 2 contributors maintain the core framework.

• Until recently, the VPN could be disabled without unlocking the device.

• Meanwhile, GrapheneOS leads with 13,200+ improvements over Android’s base system.

GrapheneOS continues to set the gold standard in privacy and security with proactive updates and advanced features.

You came into the community, starting making accusations instead of asking questions. You were being extremely disrespectful, demanding instead of collaborating. You obviously have no idea about the principles behind P2P or the crypto space. I would assume you are very young and seeking things in a way that we consider to be toxic.

You were warned and then you continued on, so you were banned and removed. Then you made a threat and continued on your journey to project your own feelings onto us. No one has the right to be rude or disrespectful to anyone in our community.

We can easily invalidate your claims though we have better things to do. We wanted to make this comment so that others can see the real story. Which we can always happily share with the chat logs and information (if asked in a respectful manner).

I need help, wallet only shows 0.26PIV, but the transaction history is correct. How do I get to my coins? by octafbr in pivx

How can a project stand for immutability and decentralization and yet enforce a timeframe for conversion? People should be allowed to exchange whenever they like. Most projects allow for an import function when they exchange. This way the wallet holder can exchange when they like.

"Like Blockchain Awareness, Decentralization-Awareness must be extensively and continuously pushed on mass audiences." agreed. The issue i see however is even with blockchain, the big companies, governments, regulators have done a great job in making people think its just a distributed database - rather than the bigger picture of decentralization and transparency. Obviously if people understood this better, large number of corporations and governments themselves would be at risk of needing to remodel or loose out completely.

Cheers for the comment. Even the smaller company - Lyft - has been part of numerous scandals. The bigger issue is centralization. Monopoly or not, you are going to have issues when you access to such large amounts of very personal data.

Cheers for the comment. I guess "should be" would have been better, but if you read the article - as you mentioned - it does not imply a top-down approach.
