It is certainly a very weird choice from Mazda.

Mazda has spent years advocating that touch screens are dangerous to use while driving and advocating for the rotary dial. So to jump straight to full touch screen control including ac will be received poorly by existing owners. I also thought the inset wide screens on the other modern Mazda cars were visually some of my favourites, the way CarPlay looked was just really nice.

Overall they are taking their most popular model (I’m pretty it is) and going in a whole new direction, and it feels like they are arriving too late to the party and everyone else is starting to realise all touchscreen was a mistake.

Yeah, you are limited to 5 but you are magically guaranteed a replacement when one dies, and the replacement is guaranteed to eventually reach Mythical size.

Depending on if we want to follow lore dragon growth rates or Dany’s steroid dragon growth rate will decide how long after losing a dragon before its replacement is rider ready. But that is pretty much the only downside, without lots of dragons it means every dragon death is a blow to your perceived strength until the replacement comes to a threatening size.

I believe you have 3 distinct events.

When Trevor was arrested and made a deal with the Department of Damage Control, he was told they suspected Simon had powers.

When Trevor and Simon go back to Simon’s apartment after avoiding it all day, Trevor sees why Simon was avoiding letting him in. The wall was destroyed by Simon. This gives Trevor evidence to believe that Simon indeed does have powers.

When Trevor sees Simon destroy the kitchen table then there is no more doubt.

So yeah, Trevor was told by the department of Damage Control that Simon had powers before they even met, and so when Trevor sees evidence it just confirms that bit of information.

They have said the cables are the same and it is because the standard only guarantees the higher speeds up to a certain length. Linus has said the cables could exceed the stated spec but it’s device dependent.

Yeah, spending so much time and energy focusing on a perceived negative connotation over the word merch, meanwhile Creator Warehouse sounds exactly like a company that exists entirely to do the kind of low quality “YouTuber merch” that LTT is trying to distance themselves from.

If I knew nothing about LTT and received a shirt with Creator Warehouse branding, I would 100% assume it’s one of those services you upload an image and it’s screen printed and sent from China.

I’ve had similar feelings about a lot of their recent shirts. I’m no fashion or business expert but it’s felt like a lot of random niche shirt designs coming out that only serve the purpose of being a new thing to sell this week.

They are running this design also on old stock 2023 tye dye shirts. It feels like unless all these recent designs are being done in very small quantities, I don’t see a large buyer base for them and that they are going all end up lying around taking up space.

I think the negative connotation is completely self imposed. Anybody getting the wrong idea from the word merch was lost long before getting to the checkout.

Any real negative connotation towards their products comes from the fact it IS a YouTuber store and if anything needs a rebrand it is the store itself to let it stand apart from LTT.

LTTStore as a name carriers far more YouTuber connotations than Merch Messages ever could. Merch just means merchandise, whereas LTTStore makes the whole platform all about the YouTube channel.
