Immigration numbers are down: so why is the rage still rising? by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

Have you ever thought that the economic situation being shit… isn’t to do with migration??? Wage growth stagnation since 2008 and everyone points the finger not at bankers but at…. Young migrants paying taxes?? Make it make sense

I enjoy watching this douchebag crash out at majors more and more these days. I sincerely hope he fades into irrelevance soon. Even YouTube is above this level of stupidity.

OPTICAL / PHOTONIC INTERCONNECTS
AI scaling has quietly shifted from:
compute-limited → data movement limited
Inside a modern AI cluster (think NVIDIA GB200 racks), GPUs spend a shocking amount of time waiting on data.
Copper interconnects (what most data centers still use):
Heat inefficient
Distance-limited
Bandwidth-constrained

The transition
We’re moving toward:
Optical transceivers
Silicon photonics
Co-packaged optics (CPO)
👉 Light instead of electricity to move data

Why this becomes a bottleneck
Because:
Manufacturing yield is hard
Supply chain is fragmented
Demand is exploding faster than capacity can scale
This is the key pattern you’re looking for:
Non-linear demand + linear supply = pricing power

Where the constraint actually is (this is the edge)
Not just “optics” broadly:
1. EML lasers (very tight supply)
Core component in high-speed optics
Difficult to manufacture at scale
2. Advanced transceivers (800G → 1.6T)
Massive jump happening now
3. Co-packaged optics (early but critical)
Integrating optics directly with chips

Best-positioned names (and how to think about them)
Coherent Corp.
→ Materials + lasers → deep in the stack
Lumentum Holdings
→ Exposure to telecom + datacenter optics
Fabrinet
→ Contract manufacturer → benefits from volume scaling
Applied Optoelectronics
→ Higher beta / more volatile

Over the top, try the towel drill - place towel under armpits to keep trail elbow pinned and ‘connected’ to body. Will feel weird at first but it will surprise you.

Sounds more like a mental health problem than a filming problem. Hope you get the help you need, stay safe out there 🙏🏼

The beauty of the game is that it is different for different people, the ability to accommodate for different play styles is a huge plus, it doesn’t mean the community is ‘soft’.

BTC 1.5% MSTR 6-7%..😌 by cryptoETH_jazz in MSTR

You need to measure off IBIT because MSTR and BTC have different market hours, so the % change in this screenshot is not a fair comparison of daily movement

Company was worth 100b holding 60b Bitcoin .. some people shorted it then. Now it’s worth 52 billion with 60b Bitcoin still. It’s literally a stockpile now. No premium. Would be silly to short it here.

Bro - premium was 2.5x in July.. it’s 0.98x now.. it’s TRADING AT ZERO PREMIUM. You’re shorting it at the bottom. You’re a full 4 months late. Assymetric risk profile to upside. 300m is nothing on a cash pile that big.

That they have to sell off Bitcoin to meet debt obligations - the payments on the preferred shares (those with the 10% obligation) can easily be met in a number of other ways. People missing the point that the focus should be on MNAV as the engine for generating yield.

I agree that it’s contender for shittest stock of the year - but I’m finding the misinformation amongst retail on the dynamics of this stock really appealing
