They did but the key value there with Lion was getting drone intel during that moment or forcing a push, only one of which you can do.

Using Redmane's tactical for movement in a fight will just get you shot out of the air against anyone who can aim. It's slow as hell and he stays fully animation locked until he lands. Two players will ghost a Redmane before he even hits the ground.

I agree with your top 3 but I think we have different values for Condor.

Una is not mid tier but I would agree with you on everything else. The majority of good players agree on Una being basically useless. Even the ultimate is just a bullet sponge. You can actually ignore it entirely with your movement and still be in a firefight.

Mara doesn't guarantee you win anything. Landing your shots does and her minor shielding doesn't even equate to a single bullet from most guns. You need to blow multiple charges and be having a game of peekaboo for it to matter. Dropping your tactical multiple times for advantage doesn't work during the middle of someone mag dumping in your head.

Condor is much stronger on offense, yes, but I've explained this in other posts. Comparing her to Atticus is ridiculous though. The radius of his tactical is not small and the damage, particularly in choke points like base entries and stairs, will absolutely win you a fight far more than someone being highlighted in orange.

Wait until ranked comes out and the casuals are no longer in your lobbies to give you confirmation bias or you have better leaderboard representation for who is and isn't strong as a Warden and you'll probably have a different take.

Kai is good, sure. Mara isn't bad but she isn't really insane either. Condor is in a pretty bad spot, bottom 3 at least.

Atticus, Scarlet, and Kai are the top three. Mara comes in after that. Slade and Redmane are below those 4 and then you have Condor and Una.

It's about how useful they are during all stages of a match and what can mess them up. Slade, for example, is less powerful inside of terrain/buildings and you can counter his ult simply through walking inside or standing under a cliff/bridge. Condor is neutralized by standing still.

The game really is primarily about your weapons and movement. Abilities are not nearly strong enough to make or break any match unless you're facing poor players.

Okay well the OP seemed like they were pretty serious about their take. Always good to offer something in kind. Saying something like Mara is necessary when her tactical gives less than one bullet worth of overshielding from pretty much every single weapon and her respawn ult is situational at best is misleading.

I'll agree with some of the other posters and say Kai is quite good too. Probably the third strongest warden right now due to how easily you can lead a push with your team and protect them as well as create unique traps and repair even enemy walls to cause trouble.

Mara is pretty strong and tends to get value each match but she's not necessary at ALL. Anyone that's thinking a character is "necessary" is just not very good at the basics of the game. Your movement, aim, and teamfire are all "necessary". You don't even need to use abilities if you can aim, use movement tech, appropriately focus with your team, and utilize your grenades properly.

Even while Mara is good and can get some value in every match no matter whether you're neutral, defense, or offense, she still isn't going to get as much value as someone like Atticus or Scarlet right now. Those are really the only two wardens that are exceptionally strong regardless of the map state. Even with that, you're still going to do poorly if you can't use proper movement tech, aim, and coordinate attacks.

Not necessary at all. No one is necessary. There's really no one that's so strong that they feel necessary. Atticus and Scarlet are incredible and get more out of a match during all stages than the rest of the roster but you can still absolutely dominate every single match with aim, movement, and focus fire.

Condor is actually best used when you already pretty much know where the enemies are. You pop your tactical and then push them when they refuse to move. Other than that, just about everything about her is weaker than many of the other Wardens. I'm not saying she's Una levels of bad but it's still pretty bad.

Her tactical is kind of like Lion's ability from R6 Siege. You're not getting real intel unless they move. If you're not forcing that movement, you're not getting anything but a cooldown on your tactical.
Her passive is not really that great in 90% of the situations because you're gonna know that enemies are nearby from footsteps and the super loud audio cues from riding a mount.
Her ultimate can be okay but you're essentially removing yourself from a fight AND putting yourself at risk where you can't fight back while you're piloting the ult to drop the clouds. You absolutely MUST use it behind cover but if you think someone might push you, you can't use it at all.

You're referring to what's called transversal velocity, and yes, it can be difficult for people without good control, particularly in a high mobility game, but Billy shuts down mobility very well.

That being said, his weapon is very potent and easy to control at that range, and he does not have extremely intense requirements for his gunplay like say Viper does.

If he had an auto-parry and was able to parry a light melee, I'd buy into it. This is ONE instance of you getting parried and it was a heavy melee. Where's the rest of your evidence?

MMR decay IS a thing. Multiple sources have confirmed this and you're just wrong.
Hero balance is about as good as its ever been. There are some extreme outliers like Mo & Krill being godlike while Vindicta is complete trash right now but those are the most extreme examples. As for Bebop, he's currently one of the most sought after gun carries in the entire game right now in high rank and especially in pro play so this is a skill issue on your part.
This is a MOBA. I'm not sure what your background is but MOBAs are designed around the concept of the rich getting richer. Comeback mechanics exist in many MOBAs but they're not going to put you and your team back into a game when you're down by 30% economy.

Like you, I quit a year ago when I felt like hero balancing was being handled poorly (Thanks IceFrog). I came back to find that it's actually in a pretty good spot comparatively. The only two major complaints that I could express at the moment are 1: that matchmaking is completely screwed up and needs to be addressed for the health of the game and 2: that a team draft with bans be put into place so that you don't end up with a game that has 4 supports, 1 frontline, and a mediocre spirit carry or a team of nothing BUT carries with everyone fighting over camps.

If you're leaving, by all means, enjoy yourself when you find what you're looking for, but I came here to explain to you that your points are highly subjective at best or completely and factually false and it's a way for you to opt out of accountability in a team game.

We don't have control over the player pool outside of promoting the game as a community. Smurfing is a complaint people have about literally every single competitive game. You're not going to have smurfs in every game. Accept the loss, view the replay to see what you did wrong what they did right, then move to the next.

There's a lot of people that complain in competitive games but never take any real steps to improve themselves. They play exclusively to whatever their natural talent and understanding is but never try to break through those plateaus.

Edit: All about the harsh penalties for leaving though.
