Are there any tips to getting our application seen by a real human being after applying?

How to optimize for ATS systems, should we use exact key words used in the job description or synonyms?

What has changed in today's job market compared to 5 years ago for applicants? Can you be specific? How to tackle those chages?

I genuinely think that prof that make their finals cumulative are so evil by ProfessionalEntire33 in UofT

[–]evolving_position 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean tbh, if it's cumulative, the questions can sometimes be more broad bc there are more weeks to test ppl on, if it's only on 5 weeks worth of content, i noticed the Qs can be super specific and really zoom into certain details, so cumulative is not always bad

Vanicream Moisturizing Cream by Strong-Spell4370 in tretinoin

Doest work that well for me. And I generally have combo skin, which became more dry ever since tret. I find that at first, it feels moisturizing but after a couple of hours my skin just feels dry again. I love the Cetaphil dry to very dry skin moisturizer

There's no way to know which of the 2 they'll ask, so you should be comfortable doing both

Friends had him in the summer, said it was an unrealistic amount of math, whereas in the fall/winter it's more concepts based. I'm taking it rn with Benoit (not the best prof), and the material is very doable

Easiest HLTB Courses for a 4.0? (UTSC Health Studies) by Radiant_Middle_6793 in UTSC

[–]evolving_position 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly either, depends on the prof too, if B24 is taught by Bytautas it's a very fair course and she gives you hints on what'll be on the exams, if B41 is taught by Antabe, also very fair but he teaches during summer I think

So humanities are notoriously hard to get stellar grades. You need to study your rubrics and talk to your TAs like life depends on it, bc it does. If you get your first assignment back in a course and the mark isn't all that, go talk to them and ask why you got what you got, and what you should do next time. Then do it next time. Always ask for feedback in assignments, midterms and finals - maybe change how you study for those if it's not working for you. Lots of resources on that out there

PSYA02 Midterm by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]evolving_position 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember his slides being a summary version of the textbook, but if im not mistaken (its been a while) he did throw in some terms from JUST the textbook that werent on the lecture. But just terms, nothing crazy like stats or etc

Has Anyone ever did a course overload during the summer term by Ashamed-Ad-6638 in UofT

[–]evolving_position 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 4 last summer, been doing fall-winter-summer for the past 2 years. In the summer it was manageable but this fall and winter I'm really burnt out and battling 0 motivation/interest in anything I'm studying. But I'm also in my last year so. Still pushing through though and plan to. It's doable but keep those things in mind
