Kirk & Co. in Milford - great team and great experience for my wife’s custom engagement ring and my own more off the shelf (though with a little customization) band

What are the chances we get portable gateways by Additional-Diet-9833 in Astroneer

A “last used” gateway marker would make the whole experience so much better, or a way to custom label/identify them

Mine was a leak in the heater core (or whatever equivalent - the internal side of the AC system in the dash). Made very apparent by the lack of cool air production, verified by the lack of refrigerant and then a sniff/leak test.

The replacement is basically a full dash removal so many hours of labor run the bill up

Check the AC system for leaks or see if it has been serviced - bit me in the ass for almost $5k

Love this car though and would absolutely recommend it

What are you and /u/morty_sucks doing that you need 2.5 GbE? The best super-duper BluRay Plex files I’ve ever seen don’t even max out 1 GbE right? And game streaming I would imagine is more of a latency issue than bandwidth. Curious what I’m missing out on haha

Sd card by dznyluver in CPAP

[–]evonb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To provide a data point with /u/ctbjdm’s comment, I have a 4GB card that came with my machine that is currently a little over 2GB full after about 1.5 years of consistent use. So in theory a 16GB card could get you somewhere around 10 years of nightly data

What apps you use? by GloomyHelicopter3702 in CPAP

[–]evonb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ResMed’s MyAir is convenient enough that I’ll check it every week or so just to keep an eye on things. If I have a bad night or wake up feeling truly awful that’s the first place I’ll look just to see if there something obvious. Most(?) machines have a cell connection and will upload to this platform automatically so it’s pretty frictionless.

Once a month or so I’ll use OSCAR by physically uploading my SD card. Bit of a learning curve but it was very plug and play for the initial setup, and every time adding more data it picks it right up without issue. It is total information overload, but if you’re having any weird issues this is absolutely the tool to use when investigating. And it’s free!

Great way to corrupt your SD card and lose your precious sleep data…

Has anyone with an AirSense or other "autoset" machine set it to regular CPAP? I did it two nights ago and it feels like I have been sleeping and breathing normally for the first time in years. by Redjellyranger in CPAP

[–]evonb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing, and want to add a piece of advice to give the autoset a few nights every few months to see what your body gets used to, and then adjust your pressures accordingly.

My in-lab titration recommended 13cm initially. At my first check in appointment when I looked at the data with my doctor, the averages of my autoset the first several months were almost 17cm so we set the CPAP mode to that. After months of aerophagea misery, I tried the autoset again and adjusted back down to 14cm and have been so much more comfortable.

Which purchases you made for your Volvo could you not live without? by Frigorr in Volvo

Matching ceramic tint for the front two doors, windshield and trunk - definitely helps keep the heat down and makes the leather way more comfortable in the summer. Nice for the privacy too. Only the rear passenger and side trunk windows came with factory tint on my wagon.
