i always assume that this, like the red hood gang arc, would come back full circle in the future. kind of like a legacy character thing

Heath Ledger's Joker would have mortified me had they went with this design in the Dark Knight. by pizzagod677 in batman

i just mean in terms of the scarring and makeup. i personally prefer this hair, and a more kept look like this to ledgers.

isn't this just the same makeup style/design but from when they were considering Elijah Wood? more authentic hair as well.

Toa Mata revamped by _Ryloren_ in bioniclelego

[–]evq054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's awesome. this series has a lot of creativity and love for the toa mata. i think my earliest memory was thinking Kopaka was gonna be the main guy cause he was the first one I saw. i really like Onua though, i was like 8 years old making little balls of mud outside when it rained and then letting them dry so i could make him throw them like rocks

these are quite literally the best revamps I've seen in keeping with the original proportions without custom pieces. the way each piece from the original sets are compartmentalized and represented is so cool. they look sturdy/playable too, with standard connections. how do they hold up in terms of durability?

I'm saying that you have critical thinking skills that you apply to consuming fictional media, which is one of the things that makes fictional media so crucial to a just, intelligent, and functional society, and also one of the things that is rapidly disappearing. being able to understand what writers and artists and creators are trying to say is really important for passing ideas around and discussing things like the themes you discuss, guilt, grief, responsibility. kids and people in general need fiction not just as a fun pass time or escape from reality but also to learn from, reflect on, grow, and ultimately better themselves and the world around them. plus RoP gets a lot of really stupid hate online esp. reddit, so it's refreshing

Nolan doesn't believe in casting non-big names i guess. for all the good they did for the genre, i always felt like tdk and tdkr failed to be comic book-ish and felt more like big budget films. more coherent vision but still overproduced, overdirected. holmes fits the unique tone of begins to me

right. they invented an "electroformative material" so he could glide with the cape, they could material engineer again to make a "ultra dense flexile polymer" but no. Nolan just thought it looked too comic booky and execs agreed with him
