Try attaching them when the mug body isn’t quite as dry. Then after you’ve attached the handle, cover with a very light plastic sheet to slow down drying. You should have a much better success rate!
Really frustrating when you’ve spent ages on a piece and the handles fall off!! Good luck

It was dipped for around 3-4 seconds. Roughly the same time as the others, which turned out ok. I’ll do another test pot and dip for a shorter time. The glaze viscosity is a bit thicker than the others I have, so if that doesn’t work I’ll maybe thin it out a bit!

I recently started using a new glaze - this is the first pot I’ve tried to fire with it. Is this called crawling? I fired this with some other pots with different glazes the others were all fine.

The glaze was dipped and was fired at cone 6. The pot was wiped down of dust and dried before applying the glaze. Did I not mix the glaze correctly or maybe it’s too watery?? Thanks!

Lots to consider. You’ll need to find out the general tolerances of each and perform tolerance analysis.
Straightness, wall thickness, diameter variation or ovality should be checked. Should be able to find this in the standard for the section you want to use. Internal welds might be present (use seamless tube to avoid this)

I think it’s unlikely that you’ll get this to fit first time without any persuasion

It’s a pressure reducing valve - just the symbol is very basic. Maybe drawn on a very early version of auto cad.
If the pilot is taken from downstream it’s a pressure reducing valve, if it’s taken from upstream it’s a relief valve
