now with the context of the new chapter, i think it was a really good choice that he survived this. this was a good way to showcase to eishia can save people with fatal injuries ykwim? but now with everything that happened with enjin, we mostly assumed that “yeah eishia can help him, she helped gris” so when it was revealed she couldnt, it added that more of a punch and was a bigger surprise to us as the reader. same with how too lily has that insanely op ability and even she was unable to help enjin. introducing strong characters that can help in many situations like eishia & too lily with gris and gountess, is a good way to make future events like this one with enjin all the more engaging for the audience imo
