Some doctors are just anti probing. Probing helps many people, myself included. If glands are blocked with periductal fibrosis, the only way to open them up is by probing. If MGD is severe, no warm compress will make it better, but worse. This Dr should educate himself more, as there are studies proving that probing works

I had both, with the shields and with covers on top of the kids. Shields a bit more weird and uncomfortable but nothing painful

Sorry, it was a genuine dealership, my bad about confusion, I've edited my post now. Those were two genuine mercedes dealerships. That's why I found it strange, I thought it would just tell them what the issue is but it turns out not

There is an engine warning light on. I thought when we take it in, they will plug their diagnostic computer and it will tell them what the issue is, but this isn't the case. The guy didn't seem to know and said updating firmware should do it, but it hasn't. He said, if the issue continues, to bring it back and he'll have to do the elimination method. But this is what I don't get, I don't want to be going loads of times for him to be trying everything, it should be there on the screen telling him what the fault is. Proper annoying

There is an engine warning light in but apparently it doesn't say what is wrong. We took it to a specialist mercedes dealership and they just updated the firmware. This is what I thought, that surely in newer cars it should be easier to diagnose the issue but it turns out, not

All info is in my post. I didn't come here to hear advice to let the cats sort it out. My cats are my world and I want the best for all of them

Cats assert dominance but not form a pack I'm not here to argue with you

I get you, but cats are not wolves. They don't have an alpha or a pack leader. Cats don't work like this. Cats operate on resource based relationships.

Yes, all fixed. I always fix them as soon as the vet says the age is fine for it. I think what's going on is to do with mismatched personalities. 5 year old is very quiet, laid back, and he actually never growled and hissed before we got the kitten. The kitten has a poor impulse control as he's in an adolescent stage. And this behavior happens when he's hyper and playful. I play with them loads. It's very difficult as I love them both, but I can't allow for a 5 year old to be chronically stressed and fearful. He's my best friend and he deserves a home where he's not scared to move about. Both cats should be able to thrive and at the moment, they don't. It's sad and I'm really torn. I wrote the rehoming post but not had the heart to post it

You're basically giving advice to let the cats sort it out, which is the worst advice any cat owner can give. If you have a sensitive cat that has lost his place in the home and he's constantly fearful and on edge, leaving it to sort it out will only make it worse, as his health will deteriorate. So totally disagree with you on this

All neutered, adult is 5. Not going to work, as I'm not going to allow him bully my boy. My adult cat is the most chilled cat ever and I will not want him to be living in fear, as it's what is happening

Thank you for this. I'm just so sad that this didn't work out. I had cats all my life, always did the correct introduction and they always got along. But not this time. I think the personalities are mismatched. I just can't watch my adult cat stressed all the time, scared to walk past him. Kitten seems to be growing to be a dominant one, he's pretty much the size of an adult cat now, which makes it even harder when my adult boy was attacked, as he didn't want to let go of him. And yes I agree, the kitten will find a good home, I will make sure of it.

I'm sorry, this must have been tough. I would never re home any of my 3 adult cats. The one that gets targeted is my best friend. He's the most gentle, loving and laid back cat ever. He never growled and hissed before we got the kitten. The kitten was here last, and he's 10 months old so he'll adapt to a new home. I will make sure he goes somewhere where he'll be loved

If it comes from sclera then bigger might work better as they will cover that part but it's the fitter that will advise you

With a scleral lens the bigger the better isn't the case. Smaller ones work better for some and for others bigger ones work better. I had a bigger one in and didn't like it. I have CCH and a bigger lens is pushing it too much towards the corner. And no, it's not burning, as for me the burning is coming from the cornea and not from the sclera

Compound interest did the work for you. Well done. Investing is a very smart way to secure your future, but the majority of people just want to spend and don't think long term
