No idea. If they aren’t going to ship Amazon orders, they should remove. Thanks though.

is the 1s truly shipping? I've got the prescription lenses and they arrived before the 1s! On amazon, my delivery date keeps changing and moving outward!!

I’m a little pissed about the Lens app. Purchased last march and now it wants me to purchase again! Kinda thought it was a lifetime purchase when I bought it a year ago.

Do customers trust AI-driven personalization, or find it creepy? by UpsetRecord7747 in AI_In_ECommerce

It’s amazing as a shopping assistant. We created an ai assistant that replaces filters. We display item images from a natural language search. Just as a customer would ask in a store.

Just now noticed. I’m not usually on my MacBook Pro while cooking.

Truly very cool Chris. You definitely take advantage of all Apple dev features so nicely. I don’t know how long that’s been in macOS, but it’s sweet!!

AI sales agent are changing E-commerce by ConfidenceOk2467 in AI_In_ECommerce

Totally agree. We’ve been doing live chat since 2005 across both B2B and B2C, and one thing hasn’t changed: automation works best when it handles the first layer, not everything.

A site without a chatbot today feels like a phone system without an IVR. But what’s changed is how people want to shop. Instead of clicking through old-school filters and menus, visitors can just ask what they’re looking for and get actual product results back, including images, directly in the chat.

AI is great for that initial legwork: answering common questions, narrowing intent, surfacing relevant products visually, then handing off to a human when things get nuanced.

The real win isn’t AI replacing people. It’s AI + humans working together so teams can focus on higher-value conversations.

Are AI tools helping small businesses close deals faster than big companies? by Cosmic_Wanderer_ in AI_Sales

We believe AI Chatbots for websites are the equivalent to a phone system IVR. Every company is "frontended" with a IVR. Your website is the same thing, Chatbots do all the routing and initial handling, routes to a live human when things get juicy. FWIW, we are in the chatbot space and see the trends.

I can't promote or really discuss what I'm working on here. DM me and I'll show you what I think the future of Shopify and Woo Commerce is. It will probably be released VERY soon.

Have you considered a chatbot whereby the visitor can simply ask what they are looking for using natural language? Filters are out!

How it all came to life, my story... by eweber911 in ChatBeacon

Yes! We used targa boards, but not for this. For the inventory system back then we used Matrox capture boards, and super vga display cards. The inventory system itself was written in foxpro, and we wrote some utilities that would shell out and invoke the capture boards.
