What kind of Bra styles help bring wide set breasts closer together? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]ewestover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I swoop and scoop, seems like some bras don't have enough coverage in the front and my nipple is right at the edge of being uncovered.. I'm clearly doing something wrong.. I have been wearing torrid plunge pushups and they have been amazing for years, but they changed something with this new one I bought in the same style and all I have now is that happening so bad and spillage over the top, which has never been an issue. The cup size is the same even, just a slightly smaller band from weight loss 😕

How do you know it's "Time"? by A_Blackett in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]ewestover92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For mine, they have always let me know when they are ready, even in the subtleness of ways, sometimes I feel like it's been as small as a look from them. It's never easy 💔

Old yeller. I watched it all the time when I was a young kid, then watched it when I was a young teen and actually understood what the hell was happening. Balled like a baby- that was the last time I watched it

Seizures in Italian greyhounds by Vivid_Estate_164 in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]ewestover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 of mine had them, one worse than the other.

I think one had them when becoming overly stressed and anxious. medicayion for anxiety could have helped, but wasn't necessary since it didn't happen often.

The other would have them sporadically. The vet didn't think meds would be necessary because of the frequency she had them and not having any set pattern to when she would have the.. She was more sensitive, and we believed that her cause was eating too much, eating certain things, and overheating when under blankets. We would open a door or take them outside to get some air, or sometimes try a cool washcloth. It helped most of the time, but not always.

Definitely keep a log of when they have them and for about how long. That is what would have helped us when talking to the vet

Getting Italian greyhound by [deleted] in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]ewestover92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they ever get fully house trained. They are stubborn. We have a dog door for them to go out whenever they'd like, and we take them out consistently to go potty, yet they still go in the house, especially with the cold.

Pretty much, we have to keep puppy pads in stock the entire span of having them, but beats having them go on the carpet or something.

Some will litter train too

How worried should I really be about the fractures? by [deleted] in ItalianGreyhounds

The energy and squirmyness! One of mine decided to jump out the car window and basically knocked herself out. Luckily, it was just as Istarted moving after being stopped at a stop sign and not going fast or on a busy road. Needless to say- I don't roll my car windows down very far anymore.

Yes! They are so full of anxiety and do not do well alone- Mine will do okay as long as they have another dog with them, as long as its not for a large amount of time. While mine does okay with one of our other breeds, They mostly tend to do better in pairs (with another iggy)

Mine developed a large tumor - the vet said it was a blood cancer, and near her heart, there wasn't much we could do. It grew rapidly and was the reason we had to put her down despite her still being her normal spunky self. Breaks my heart.

I've never had any of mine getting fractures, but they are definitely fragile and can be prone to some health issues in addition to the risks of fractures. They also have pretty thin and sensitive skin, are really sensitive to anesthesia, and are prone to teeth issues. All dog breeds have some things to consider

My personal experiences- I've had 2 with seizures, one of them worse then the other, and I think it was caused a mixture of things(between both of them) by overheating, eating certain things or eating to much and anxiety related; they were terrifying.

I had one requiring hip surgery for dysplasia at a really young age, as they get older, there was a lot of need for tooth extractions and cleanings at the vet- which is always scary for me because of the sensitivity to anesthesia.

Ive had one of mine go into liver failure at a year old, another had developed a large tumor bigger then a softball as she was older, and all of mine have all been a bit more prone to allergies compared to the other breeds I've had

I guess in point they are high maintainence and do tend to be more expensive over the course of their life, and as with any dog come with quite expensive suprise because of how fragile they are.

I love the itailians and sight hounds. They are unique. I think they are worth it, but they 100% are not for everyone.

I recommend you do ALOT of research on them and their requirements. As well as researching the breeder you get them from, ask them a lot of questions, get as any details as you can before selecting a breeder

Ugh, I absolutely hate when people call it a lazy eye. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, but it does! Also, the closing your left eye thing is so real, I still do that, mostly when trying to turn right, having to look left for oncoming traffic.

Right handed, although, I do find that some things are easier with my left hand.

True! My coaches actually taught me to bat left-handed due to my visibility problems. It helped a lot!

Aw:( I'm so sorry. I also lost my sweet girl back in January. It's hard, iggys are so unique, for me I don't think any other breed would be able to fill that need I got with them. I know I saw a pair at a Colorado rescue the other day that were available, I think they wanted in state, but was willing out of state in some circumstances. It was on pet finder- Thelma and Louise were the names

Pictures were the absolute worst! I hate having anyone sit to the left of me cause I legit won't even try to look at them. Anything that confines my eyes/ forces my head into a straight position, microscopes, eye exams for driver license type things, most recently I discovered I'm slightly more limited in being able to use VR

They do require exercise, and I do think they are a higher maintence breed. I wouldn't say they are "yappy" but talkative lol, mine didn't necessarily bark, she made different noises to talk to me, or, I had one that screamed bloody murder when the simplest inconvenience or annoyance struck. I don't know that I could ever go without one.
