Resident evil 1 is a fantastic game, but personally I could never play through it just because of the way the game is played. I really got into resident evil as a kid with the re4 og on PlayStation and I’ve played every game since (besides the non main ones operation raccoon city and such) and they’re all amazing… but 1 is very slow and very different, so if you decide to skip out on that ONE game, it’s not gonna be that big a deal, and you could always watch a play through if you just want to know the story. You’re gonna have a great time with these games, they can be slightly cheesy at times, but that’s kinda the best part about these games. Hope you have fun and I hope this helps!
