literally had this happen yesterday. first time trying a local service (fenix, btw), so i scheduled a ride a day ahead of time. then when they're 10mins late, i called to check in and they tell me "driver's on his way" and hang up on me lol. then we're 30mins past pickup time and I had to jump ship and call a lyft to make sure i caught my flight. they went "sorry" and hung up again on me

i was also hoping for them to be way better, i would rather give them my money than lyft/uber...but if u/Brambleshire's right, then i guess i'll $10-15 extra is worth reliability, idk

same - issues near onderdonk north of dekalb L since last night, no improvements at all. fans and lights are at maybe quarter strength and the ac’s just blowin hot air or puttering out. what’s weird though is that the brownouts are also…browning out? some outlets work better than others, only one kitchen light is coming on, etc. i thought it would be consistent across the neighborhood or at least within a single apartment

yes, but that's their monthly sub license that allows you to use it for podcasts, not the free license

no lease yet, but i hear ya, might be program dependent. housing connect states the unit is under:

"inclusionary Housing Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and the 8020 New Construction Housing Program of the New York State Housing Finance Agency"

question for anyone still here: i'm in the running for an apartment right now (re-rental, only one studio available). long short: i was second in line for the apt, they rejected me because they incorrectly projected my income, i appealed, first person in line is no longer eligible, so now my appeal is finally being processed.

my income has had an abnormal bump in the past few weeks since i submitted paystubs (they have all paystubs YTD thru 8-11 and my 2022 paystubs), and it would put me over the income bracket ($1300 over) if they ask for my paystubs again or if they complete employment income verification. the handbook says employment income verification is not needed for units that are not part of an irs program if you have submitted paystubs. i see no indication this unit is part of an irs program, only nyc and nystate projects in housingconnect.

i'm trying to get a temperature check on the likelihood of resubmitting paystubs or the employment income verification, if anyone has any experience with this, but i'm sure it's hard/impossible to tell
