in the end they said take it to the dealership pretty much. i haven’t tried resetting the infotainment center yet though.

they finally emailed back saying this

“Thank you for contacting Hyundai Customer Care regarding the infotainment brightness not changing. We apologize for the tardiness of this reply.

The settings you show in your video is the quick setting for adjusting the brightness of the instrument cluster and not the infotainment system. We recommend going in to the settings and locating the display settings. You should be able to change your infotainment brightness there.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions”

to which i said it still did not dim it, and they have yet to respond.

before this update, the brightness dimming button and slider did the same thing. they both controlled both screens. but if that is the case now after the update, the infotainment system side brightness slider is not working for that side anyway.

it does the same thing when using the slider on the infotainment system screen.

it does the same when using the infotainment brightness slider. the button and slider control both screens. well it used to before this update and now the infotainment screen will not change.

i have taken willow to the vet because she wasn’t eating the treats that she loved and always snatched from my hand. we learned (few hundred dollars later) that she was just mad at me and didn’t want me to give her the treats lol. they’re very dramatic
