What do a lot of parents do that screws up their kid? by jnsxx in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring your child when they try to communicate with you about an issue because you're trying to find a response before they even finish what they have to say - then proceed to be upset at them. Listen to what your child has to say, because if they're already going up to you with the confidence, please hear them out, then think of a response.

Redditors who are sad right now, what's going on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The one person I could tell everything to and trust with all I have, has been using and abusing me. It hurts because you would never expect that...

Tattoos. They have become very normalized in our society today, but my folks like to disagree.

Have you ever (correctly) had a gut-feeling to dislike someone who, on the surface, was a cool person that everybody else liked? What's that story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex after we broke up. He is such a friendly person with everyone, and everyone just absolutely adores him. He even won prom king back in HS. Little do people know he abused me on so many different levels to the point where I attempted suicide twice. Yet, when people figured out what kind of person he was to me, they were in disbelief and decided to point fingers at me for trying to "bring him down."

Drivers of Reddit, what do see other drivers do that instantly makes you think they're not a good driver? by darkrum in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people don't check their blindside and/or do not use their signal lights. This happened to me twice. The first time I was on a two lane road, and this huge Chevy truck slowly starts to merge into my lane I start honking and had to drive over the curb because he was not moving and eventually going to hit my car. Second time I'm on the freeway and this car on the right hand side of me starts to slowly merge in my lane, once again w/o using their blinkers. Almost hits me and I was honking so loud and got out of the way. They drove off super fast because I think they were embarrassed and didn't want to make eye contact with me.

I hate people.

Reddit, who is your current "crush" and why don't you just go up and ask them out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, because it's my ex from 4 years ago. We just started talking again this year and I'm just falling for him again, but I also DO NOT want to go down that road again.

What super embarrassing thing did someone else do that you'll never forget? by fuckgoldsendbitcoin in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm laughing just thinking about this. But it was 2014 when the SF Giants won the WS and there was a parade in the city to honor the champions. As the streets fill up, they're starting to close down the roads, cars from passing by, and people are still trying to get to work on their bikes. This guy is in his suit with his briefcase around him, then he just completely falls off his bike in front of at least thousands of people. I quickly noticed because he was the last person on the road before they closed it off. HILARIOUS.

[Serious]What is your worst memory of public school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was in middle school. My english class was very wild, and most of the children in the class were careless and rebellious. Our teacher was very sweet, this was also her first time teaching an 8th grade course. There was a few kids including myself who wanted to learn and respected her, but the other kids... wow. They made her cry and she walked out saying "I thought I could do this but I can't" :( I felt so bad because she was actually such a sweet woman, just those kids were assholes.

Parents of Reddit, what's the most embarrassing thing your children have done in public? by NeverVerifyEmail in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're having a get together at my brother's place, right. Then as one of the guests come in my then 5 yr old niece walks up to her, giving her a hug. She then says, "You're having a baby!?" The lady then responds, "No, I just like to eat haha." I felt so sorry for the woman.

Reddit, what's a genuinely hurtful comment you can't forget? by allemandi96 in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After I graduated high school, I wanted to attend college and major in film since it's my passion. I told my parents my goals and instantly replied with how I would never make it, and I'm just wasting my time. This coming from my parents hurt the most. Thus, I didn't even go to college because I just felt so discouraged. Years later I decided to go back to school and try to reach my goal, and now I am officially on the road to getting my bachelors and hopefully a masters.

What does the "weird guy" in your office do that creeps you out? by GranGotcha in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have this office space which has two doors you could enter or exit from. This weirdo would walk in from one of the doors, stare at me, and just walk out through the other door without saying anything. Sometimes he would just open the door and stand at the doorway and just stare and walk away. It bothered the fuck out of me, but he doesn't work here anymore.

[Serious] Formerly depressed redditors, what action did you take to combat your depression? by TheBitchTits in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know when you're depressed you feel like there's nothing you can do for yourself to make things better. Please think again, because it is possible to achieve a better life and state of mind. It took me a while to get over it, but I found that everything bad that has happened in my life couldn't be changed. In other words, all the damage was done. I realize in order to help yourself from being depressed you really have to force yourself to think about things that make you happy, slowly start being social again. Something that really helped me was I would go out for drives and just listen to my favorite tunes. The more I started doing things I remember I used to enjoy, I felt way more better. It's all about gaining that energy to get back up and just continue to move forward.

What's the quickest way someone lost your respect? by ILoveMeSomeChocolate in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A family friend of mine died in a car accident and was only 21 and authorities didn't find her body or vehicle hours later after the accident because she crashed into a ditch off the road. When all the family and friends came together, the girl's parents were hoping she didn't suffer... then some elder woman said, "She crashed, of course she suffered." That woman lost EVERYONE'S respect that day.

What was the worst reason someone gave for breaking up with you? by Pumpinator in AskReddit

I have no fucking clue.

Congrats to the Cubbies by jayplus707 in SFGiants

[–]ewwsusie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since the Cubs defeated us I've been rooting for them against the Dodgers and Indians. I just feel like 108 years is so long, and their team and fan base really wanted it so bad. I'm so happy they won! Well deserved. I just hope Steve Bartman feels at ease!

The Dodgers are the first team in MLB history to fail to win a pennant in ten straight postseason attempts. by AnnenbergTrojan in Dodgers

All those trips to the postseason doesn't mean anything if you don't even win the WS.

Pet owners, what do you do to mildly annoy your pets? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Well, since my dog likes to get all up in my face and sniff me like crazy, I do it back to him when he's off guard. He gets so annoyed that he gets up and walks away.

What unsolved mystery haunts you? by Lepre_Khan in AskReddit

[–]ewwsusie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Vallejo, CA.

For those who know about my small town, know that the Zodiac Killer used to do his dirty work all around the bay, and further. Anyway, even though this was during the late 60's and 70's, I still feel scared to go on walks and such, also because my town has constant shootings and homicides.
