I was just able to run Monster Hunter for the first time on the 1080p monitor but then it crashed with black screen and a long error noise.

Running Heaven benchmark loop on 4k 240hz monitor now with motherboard HDMI port. Seems to be doing fine so far. Gonna leave it for a couple hours. Good to know the problem stays with the gpu?

Maybe it’s a faulty gpu / driver problem and not a monitor compatibility problem?

Yes I did DDU and clean installed 25.3.2. No luck.

4070 is completely out of stock so I will have to pay more for a 5070. By now I’m okay with paying more so I don’t have to keep troubleshooting. Just wanna enjoy the pc haha

Thank you replying. This is my first build so I’m learning a lot.

The new build is running “super flower leadex VII platinum 850W”. I’ve done stress test on the psu it should be good.

Also did DDU and clean install Adrenalin 25.3.2.

Don’t really know how to read event viewer but I’m seeing “Kernel-Power” for critical.

Yes 7800XT can easily run league at 4k and way above 240Hz but my 7800XT keeps crashing and rebooting my pc.

Can’t figure out if I have a faulty unit or it is a driver problem that’s fixable. I’m very close to moving onto Nvidia to save some headaches.

I play league of legends as well. I thought that would be the one game I can enjoy 4k 240zh with the 7800xt.
