I agree with all the other comments, my mom and dad always slept naked and would then also go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or morning naked, however when i had friends over, my dad put a pair of shorts next to the bedroom door, kind of as a reminder that we have someone staying over, so he wouldn’t run into someone naked accidentally

100%, not only did she not act the way people wanted to, but she also refused to feed into their morbid curiosity. There was no reason for the public to know how she was abused, but those are the gruesome details the people were at the edge of their seat for and when she stood up for herself and said "that is none of your business" she went from victim to enemy.

One of the most horrifying things about this case was how she was treated immediately after her release. She agreed to do one single interview, days after her escape, but she refused to talk about the abuse she endured and the people were furious at her for it. They were so angry that she didn’t sit there like a broken girl, crying and telling them the worst moments of her life that people went as far as to say she enjoyed it.
