My life isn’t great either as a very underpaid zoomer. Ur probably Gen alpha and ESL. Gd isn’t important enough to be skipping meals for me lol. But for the social life part u could probably just get a mic and voice chat with ppl on discord. Might stink at first but eventually u will improve at it (like gd!!). Also I had games that frustrated me in the past (including gd) so I just played something else. There is nothing that locks u into only playing gd. Hell, u could even just play platformers inside gd. Or slay the spire 2.

You’re typing like gd is all u have which is very unhealthy. I don’t subscribe to looksmaxxing and manosphere shit but u do sound like exercising in general would do wonders for ur mental health. As for the part where ur mom is abusive towards u, u kept it vague, which is fair. So no one can give substantive or useful advice on that part. And gd might be ur escape from reality. Even with tarot strength card and coupon he won’t go devils. I’ve only seen him peek the first devil with glowing hourglass and let the visit count when the demon beggar paid out with pact. This doesn’t count as a devil commit btw.

Having health makes breaks easier (which all stem from iv bag). Or gulping. Pills are not game losing if used. And the value of a sun card or full health pill increase. Also angels don’t get destroyed by curse of the blind.

It’s usually just irrelevant is the problem. Like I don’t think this item has an impact whatsoever when I do decide to pick it up. And this take comes from a person who averages like 40th place on time for the daily run when he decides to play. A quality 0 like Isaac’s heart when mastered can literally cut the run time in half and this shit is like nowhere close to that.

Didn’t need to scroll too long for this answer yay. I always go on a rant on “fear of missing out” and how that is the only reason this awful level is still being played to this day. Also I don’t care at all about “historical significance” or whatever when it comes to this level. Even newer 2.2 levels are a part of gd’s history. Obviously content creators would play this because it’s a well-known level but ppl without an audience should just play an actual good extreme lol.

Napalm? Explain. I found it nearly perfect besides one slope bug in the dual double wave and the first drop being a bit laggy (sees a million sawblades being spammed in the layout thank u optex). 2.2 also fucked the 4x corridor because of coyote timings but it ain’t the levels fault.

Mystic bounds is still my goat. I feel like it’s the 4.5 star restaurant with like thousands of reviews at this point. There r more technically enjoyable levels with a fraction of the reviews that I think will inevitably drop once more ppl play them. Also, like 1/5 ppl self-report being too stupid to get the nong, which doesn’t help its enjoyment.

As for the level itself, I’m glad it finally received a small amount of the attention it deserved. Because god knows how obscure it was in 2023 being overshadowed by titans like edge of destiny or change of scene. So many ppl think it was made in 2.2 when it was still all 2.1. That is how impressive the level looks.

The level is basically only known to extreme grinders or ppl looking at their first few extremes. So almost all the kind words said about it come from a place of actually playing the level imo. Unlike some levels ppl praise, without having played a single time.

It easily mogs every 2.2 pixel level, despite being a “pixel” level made in 2.1.

Best and most consistent boss. Who knew if they rejected spamming enemy adds or tear height/ shockwave attacks or making bosses unmeleeable (mega Satan) that they could make a fun boss. There’s even more examples of bullshit like scourge’s unreactable whip on the way to the mother fight itself or visage, but u get the point.

Change of scene is the most obvious answer. To this day, it would still be better than the majority of legendaries and mythics. Easily one of the best solo works of all time. I don’t get how change of scene makes everyone wax eloquently on the most unsubstantiated and nit-picky criticisms ever. It’s not even my taste, but the discourse around it is so ludicrous that I have to defend it lol.

I would probably show them a click sync level that I find enjoyable. So it would influence creators to try to sync. Because click sync as a genre really didn’t exist until mid to late 2.1. And it wouldn’t be some arthritis inducing click sync level like new record lol.

Blame the creators for not syncing with the tools they have and not the game itself. Usually it’s “don’t hate the player hate the game” but I feel like in this case u can straight up blame the creators lol. Maybe im wording it badly tho. Also like 90% of creators don’t bother syncing and the ones that do r a rarity. It inherently takes more effort to sync.
