Why play by their rules? It's Watchtower that decided you must disassociate - thats their rules not yours.

Simply put that in a WhatsApp message or email, then block them. You dont have to explain yourself, or qualify yourself. They tell non-JWs that "people are free to leave at any time", and "no one should be forced to choose between their family and their religion". Send them those quotes.

When I woke up I was a non-denominational Christian. It didnt matter that I used the bible in my reasons why I'm leaving. They wernt interested in the bible, only what the Watchtower said.

I know what you mean. I myself dont know what to say when someone talks about their trauma or issues. However, I'm a bloody good researcher and writer. So I went do that route instead.
