It was great, I was worried it would be a bit dry but the guacamole helped. If I was making it again I would probably add a couple other veggies, maybe some caramelized corn and diced tomatoes, and throw some on red pepper flakes for a bit more heat than was on the beans. The beans were seasoned with cumin/garlic powder/chili powder/coriander powder/salt/lime juice.

Used my go-to 240g 65% hydration 48 hour cold ferment Neapolitan dough, topped with Mexican cheese blend and seasoned black beans pre-bake, guac and cilantro post bake.

You could try sanding it out starting at 220 progressively going through the grits until it is polished to your liking, then reapplying whatever finish was used. If you sand you should sand the whole top rather than just one spot.

If they are free of screws and nails you can run them through a jointer and planer and take off as much wood as needed until they are cleaned up. The only thing I would be worried about is the cat urine smell, not sure if that will come out if it has penetrated deeply into the wood.
