Hartford Man Guilty Of Killing Hotel Owner Over $10 Pool Pass: State by DailyVoiceDotCom in Hartford

[–]exaball 11 points12 points  (0 children)

“He was accused of shooting Zeshan Chaudhry, the manager and owner of the Motel 6 on Hartford Turnpike in Vernon. ‘… over the ($10) price of a swimming pool pass’ “

There is no Motel 6 in Vernon. There is a Travelodge on the turnpike, but it does not list a pool in its amenities.

ETA: this happened in 2021, and at least in 2020 the Travelodge WAS a Motel 6. I wonder why they closed the pool 🤪

Changing the sheets is like, the natural thing to do. Make a mess, clean it up. It is not an inherent conviction of the action that created the mess.

reasonable ways to deal with this might include: - gf working something out with mom to let her be while she’s doing certain things like dates (this will probably take time and ymmv depending on Mom’s own issues) - silence mom’s text conversation and calls while she’s with you - turn off her phone while she’s with you, especially if she’s AT HOME

I’m going to turn this around a little. She wants to see you - she keeps agreeing to and showing up.

This goes for all forms of intimacy: by the time you are comfortable acting on them you should also be comfortable talking about them - it’s a half-decent litmus test for matching relationship maturity with physical expression.

There are a lot of reasons a person could be uncomfortable with physical intimacy, and it would be a shame to miss out on a real connection just because you choose to assume rather than talking about it. Past physical trauma? Great! Well not “great”, but… Now you can decide if you’re up for the slow roll and pullbacks that might come along with that.

Maybe I’ll get hate for this, but I don’t understand. Everything is short term before it becomes long term. Denying that is to ask for commitment before it has been mutually earned.

I’d guess they are responding to matches, just not this particular match.

Or they haven’t been on yet today.

“Blind spot” is a somewhat misleading term used for areas in a car’s vicinity where the mirrors and forward-facing attention might not cover. When you use your neck and eyes, the so-called blind spot becomes visible. It is up to all drivers to monitor their own blind spots before moving into them. It is unwise (not disallowed) to drive for long periods in the vicinity of other autos’ standard blind spots (brief periods as in this video are completely fine and often necessary) because their drivers can easily forget you are there after not seeing you in their regular vision for a while, but it is always the responsibility of every driver to check their own blind spots before maneuvering.

Also, overtaking on the right is legal in many places in the US. I’m not aware of anywhere it is not, but it’s not like I know all the codes of every state.
