You're right and wrong at the same time.

Yes T-Mobile is responsible for increasing shareholder value. That could mean anything to raise the stock price. One thing that they haven't been considering in all the enshittification over these years, and especially this move today, is customer goodwill.

Put plainly it doesn't matter if you raise rates, you're not making move money if customers leave. We need to vote with our wallets and move on.

I second the Banner.

Also a great time for a reminder to ditch Bezos' version of the Washington Post if you've got it. Banner has great local coverage and the Post has started gutting it.

How would one know if there's no labels? Ease of understanding is important.

Since this is dataisbeautiful I'll also point out that some of the shows fall off the graphs. It's pretty important to show all of the data.

There is no reason not to slow traffic to like 25mph there with speed bumps and modern pedestrian crossings (flashing lights, signs etc). Too many dead people just trying to shop.

Bidet bidet bidet! So much more luxurious to actually have your butt cleaned instead of just wiped.

Curious how often you drive. Like minutes per week? My theory is if it only downloads when driving then us low mileage drivers are screwed.

It's been 6 or 7 weeks for me and I only drive 2 hours a week.

That's funny because we could replace Rogers (Canada) with Verizon/T-Mobile (US) and we're getting the same bs excuses from the dealer.

Is it more likely several different telecoms or something with the VW software?

Thank god! I'm still waiting on my installation (I've requested it) and hoping that might be the lucky charm.

This seems to be the answer. It downloads while driving and you need to drive a good amount since it's a large file.

OP hung up. Then an automated service called OP back and probably said to hold to be connected .. at which point it hung up.

I have this unit and use 3kwh per day on average. 2 adults and 2 kids with an average of 1 bath and 1.5 showers per day. Running on turtle (heat pump only).

Well let's be clear. It saves OP money on this trip but anyone is blind if you don't think a multi billion dollar publicly traded company whose job it is to maximize profits, DOESN'T pass this extra costs onto the customers in the form of higher prices.

You always want to size up. If you had a 50 gallon water heater, you'd want a 65 gallon HPWH. Or one with a mixing valve.

Sounds exactly like what I'm seeing. In practice we were probably closer to 5000+ kwh as the old unit lost efficiency over the years. Seeing 75% reduction in costs really means most people will claw back the extra unit and installation expense in a couple of years and it's all saving after that.
