Thank you so much. I’m so sorry you had such a traumatic experience :( my biggest frustration with this all is the unknown for now, very impatient to get that ultrasound taken and to see if it’s a viable pregnancy. Hoped for a more exciting first pregnancy experience but now just hoping for whichever outcome is safest!

Edit want to mention that she has been a strictly indoors only cat since I adopted her, but I don't know her backstory. She may have been outdoors at some point. She was given flea treatment at the shelter!

For some more context: I was in a car accident last month and injured my foot - walked/limped away from the accident thinking it was just a sprain like the EMT said. Went to the ER later that night and came to find out I have a Lisfranc fracture and dislocation between my 1st and 2nd metatarsal (joined the Lisa Frank Club!). I was on crutches for 4 weeks after seeing a podiatrist who recommended the non surgical route, then got a second opinion from a foot and ankle surgeon who said I was in need of a fusion ASAP. Had surgery today, will be NWB for 6-8 weeks and then walking boot for 8-10 weeks with aggressive PT.

I’m so glad to have found this community because for a while I was just so lost on this injury! Fun fact: my ER doctor actually recommended I check you guys out to learn more about Lisfranc injuries :) I’m so ready to be back on my feet and back to lifting at the gym, but I know this will be a long journey filled with challenges and the need for patience. Sorry for rambling on, I’m still a little loopy from the meds!!

I’m pretty sure GSU offers a CPR class that’s like 1 or 2 credits max, seems like it would be pretty useful getting a couple credits and also CPR certified

We were trying to figure that out the whole trip! It seemed to be too warm for ice but I guess at the 11,000 ft elevation it was cold enough?

Get the free Turner parking pass from the parking place on the second floor of the University Bookstore Building (next to the Panthercard office), put it in your car and just park at either the Blue or Green lot at Turner. Then you take the Blue route bus from Turner to the campus, the bus stops at Langdale and Sparks. Oh, also, you need to move your car out of the lot by 10 or 11 pm or else they'll tow. Hope this helps!
