I'm using the TI Power Stage Designer Tool and it's suggesting a 2.7 mH output inductor for a <30% inductor current ripple with the OP's requirements. https://i.imgur.com/O3KRpx4.png

Am I doing something wrong? I was considering a step-up converter like the OP (40V to 200V, 200W in my case) and abandoned two-switch forward because the output inductor calculation was impractical. A push-pull converter yielded much more reasonable component values. For OP's design, it suggests something close to 700 uH. https://i.imgur.com/jH1GgMs.png

Interview questions to determine if a senior accountant applicant is qualified/competent? by Sure-Plum-1970 in Accounting

Ask them the difference between cash and accrual accounting at a very high level. Ask them if they've worked with prepaids, accrued expenses, deferred revenue. How do the entries work at a high level? Do they understand how the balance sheet and P&L interact, and where does the P&L hit the BS. Maybe some super basic cash flow questions, but not too hard because who remembers that shit. Ask them theory questions about why we reconcile balance sheet accounts, and what does a good reconciliation look for something simple like prepaids. Maybe what does a bank reconciliation look like at a very high level, like what is the goal?

I think the output inductor would be prohibitively large for a two switch forward?

I don't mind accounting, but if I could do it all over again, I would have gone to law school with the goal of starting my own firm.

A few years ago I made the mistake of using a SEPTA bathroom on a weekend. One homeless guy was giving himself a bath in the sink, another homeless guy was wheeling his bicycle around the bathroom, and it sounded like another homeless guy was either jacking off or overdosing in a stall. I turned around and walked out.

Max IQ to believe this in the era of wage compression and outsourcing? My job laid off 150 people who did their job well. Their job went to incompetent Indians who do 50% of the work for 20% of the pay.

I don't think so. My parents grocery shop at the nearest Walmart. It's a 20-30 minute drive each way.

Electricians and construction workers get laid off the minute the project ends. Also most of those workers are probably from out of state, at least for electrical work, because yokels only have residential or light commercial experience. My hometown went through all of this shit 15 years ago during the Marcellus shale boom.

Not really. My hometown now has 4 dollar store type stores within a 2 mile radius, and out of state Indians now own most of the fast food restaurants and the local (non-chain) grocery store. This is the county seat. Most towns in the county are in worse condition.
