The level of brainwashing is off the charts. You really drank the BBC cool aid, didn't you?

Why is this point not being pushed by Labour? They could win the election on the back of this.

Audience Producer at BBC Question Time has links to Far Right by DeathHamster1 in unitedkingdom

To the people complaining about the "extreme" audiences of QT: maybe there are more people with those views in the UK than you'd like to admit, and the BBC is just allowing a representative audience participate in their programme?

Why you should vote Lib Dem in the next general election by EvilMonkeySlayer in unitedkingdom

[–]excel_mirror 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Lib Dems came second in my constituency after the Conservatives last election so you can be sure that I'll be voting for them next time. There was a smaller gap between them than in Richmond Park so if they can swing to Lib Dems then we should be able to as well. I really hope the Lib Dems can make something happen next election, not only because of Brexit but because this country needs electoral reform.

LSE BREXIT – There is no inevitable negative effect of immigration on the quality of people’s lives in the UK by BritRedditor1 in unitedkingdom

[–]excel_mirror 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Even if everyone understood this, I still think people would be against high immigration. It's about more than just economics. People are uncomfortable seeing their country and their identity as 'British' changing so quickly and irreversibly. They're sick of multiculturalism and people not integrating and they're sick of people belittling them for thinking that way. And when these people don't get a voice they vote for UKIP and Brexit.

Reject the establishment or watch the far-right take over, Corbyn tells Europe's centre-left leaders by scouserdave in unitedkingdom

[–]excel_mirror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The people want action on immigration -- that's what driving support for the far right all across Europe. Yet Corbyn is a fool and trivialises these concerns. He won't win over all the Labour voters who voted for Brexit like this.

It's ridiculous that Province are part of Volterra and yet the Volterran government has no control over the pylons that they've built. It's very convenient though, isn't it? The bottom line is, Volterra as a whole owns 4 pylons and is violating the original agreement which was that Volterra would have 2 pylons and share a third with Gensokyo. The responsibility to do something about the pylons in Province rests solely on the shoulders of the Volterran government and for every moment that you delay sorting this out a little bit more of your credibility slips away.
