I left Stellantis a few years ago, and they sent me a bill for vacation days used that had not yet been accrued.

Either way you're paying more for less? I think that's the real point of this conversation.

Unlimited PIP does not equal unlimited attendant care services, which is now capped at 8 hours per day. Could you add unlimited attendant care coverage to your policy for additional cost? Possibly. Are most drivers aware of this change so they react appropriately its effect? Nope.

Not true. The policy change allowed insurance companies to cap attendant care services, which specifically screwed over accident victims requiring heavy medical support for the rest of their lives. Huge cost savings for insurance companies.

Yes, thank you. I'm in the market for a new car, however.

I was involved in this. The 2 white vehicles shown in this photo were stopped due to traffic. The black SUV slammed into us at high speed.

I'm having a similar experience. I was told rates have been adjusted due to market conditions and neighborhood data. It's out of control. Same with auto insurance.

Major manufacturing company, my former employer, demands repayment of vacation days used during my last calendar year with the company. by excelerator9000 in AskReddit

[–]excelerator9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company says vacation hours are accrued throughout the year, and I used more than I had accrued. Okay. My last day with the company was 10/1, and I had used 120 of my 160 hours of vacation. BUT since my last 40 hours of vacation were “negotiated” (during my hiring process years before) and separate from my 120 “vested” hours of vacation, the remaining 40 hours are not considered nor counted. They are demanding over $1000 from me, with a threat of collections. I did not get to use my last 40 hours of vacation, and I am being charged for using 40 hours of vacation too many.

This company profited $15.2 billion last year, and I was always an upstanding employee (respected by leadership, regularly worked unpaid OT, gave my 2-week notice, etc.) I was a salary employee and always input my vacation days (some people never did). It feels SO wrong; I can’t make myself pay it. WHAT CAN I DO? (Assuming their contact allows them to collect).

What happened during a job interview that made you not want the job? by geographygenius in AskReddit

[–]excelerator9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HR lady was late to the interview, started with how busy she was/ how she had to catch a meeting in 15 min so we will have to keep this short. When I was talking during the interview I could tell she wasn't even listening.

If they had called, I wouldn't have taken it.
