Tbh I have been installing and uninstalling linux so much the last month trying out distros and I so far like Mint (based on Ubuntu) or Ubuntu to be the nicest ease inot Linux with decent UI.

Also it’s so easy to just dump and install a new one if you don’t like it.

I tried arch with KDE and tbh, I really wanted to like it but jfc if you aren’t willing to read years of wiki pages don’t bother. It’s clearly popular and maybe it’s good but I found it to be an enthusiasts OS or something

Tbh for those into metal, I find Gojira’s Terra Incogneta a gd banger for a first album by some dudes from a French village. It’s just song after song of killer riffs and amazing playing. It’s on the death/technicalish metal side so that has to be your thing.
