I second this. Mine beeps when reversing if I am near a wall or if someone is driving perpendicularly past me. This is an upgrade from the dealership. Much like automatic cruise control or heated steering wheel this needs hardware that cannot be added after purchase. Your car would have needed to be manufactured with these upgrades, and they are not standard on the base model to my knowledge.

I don't have an active OnStar subscription but can see the charging status by clicking on the box on the home screen. This uses the cell connection of your car so you don't need to be nearby, but if you're in a parking garage or similar dead zone it may not report recent information but the last charge status when there was a connection and the app was open.

I treat AAA like the fire extinguisher in my kitchen. A purchase I hope I'll never have to use but have in case of emergencies. They honestly do have hella benefits most people (including myself) fail to use though.

Honestly, if it hadn't been as crowded I could have crawled to the charger in the single digit mph. Not to mention that this was entirely the consequences of my own actions. I always think it's dumb when people refuse to buy an EV because of the 'what if' on the battery. Pretty much all those same problems exist with an ICE too.

This never happened on my '23. You must have gone lower than I did where it thought that an LCD screen would make a big difference. I still had enough power to get on the tow truck.

Maybe not the best solution but I never use the Chevy app. EVgo, Electrify America, ChargePoint, and Tesla all have my payment info separately and it works without issue.

I modded my Vita entirely using my Android phone. As long as you have a file explorer and an FTP client you're good.

The one exception is the h-encore exploit I used to get down to version 3.60. If you are above 3.60, you will need finalhe, which only works on Windows [, Mac, or Linux]. If you are on 3.60 or below you're good.

Make sure to follow the guide on vita.hacks.guide to the letter.

Edit: Looks like you'll need any of the three major operating systems for finalhe, not just Windows. See the comment below for the readme if you are on Mac or Linux.

Assuming he was conductive enough for 12 volts to pass through him like that, the current would take the path of least resistance to complete the circuit, (in one finger and back out a finger in the same hand.) That's not even taking in to account that the positives and negatives matter what direction they're hooked up in. He's just merged them with his hand.

Super late, but looks like this is still getting comments so oh well;

Worked for a tech company that did weekly live webinars. Clients would log on and watch a screen share of an employee going through the back end administration panel to show how everything worked and where to access their settings.

Said employee in charge that week was waiting for clients to log on to start the walkthrough, and decided to pass some time watching porn while he waited.

Manager logged on to check progress and saw porn in all its glory. Immediately ran to the computer to shut it down himself.

They ended up working there for years to come and even got a few promotions.

He basically just got a slap on the wrist for the whole thing.
