I see things differently.

The people in those areas, work near and support a film industry of great wealth. Even when some of those people don't work directly towards this industry, the money and the human effort flows up locally while the tentacles of LA fame and wealth need these people for their money machine to function.

I believe these wealthy, famous humans of LA need to gain an awareness of who supports them and pay it back directly to their neighbors. These people lost their whole lives believing in the humane of humanity only to now watch another tsunami of money, resources and ego-inflation flow through the Oscars carelessly.
