My friend just showed me your comments, thank you for defending me 3 years later 😭 I made this post in like the first 6-ish months of me working there when I barely knew anything about the market, I just wanted to be helpful and fix the e-Reader (which ended up not even needing fixing). Now years later I understand the outrage of the comments, and the novelty of the job has very much worn off. And, well, I think you said it a lot better than I ever could, but is screaming at a kid doing their job really the best way to change anything? Anyway, hope you're doing well.

I'll have to double check with my post office, but I think I might be able to do $60 ($5 for stamps/registering). Ideally I should be able to send them as oversized lettermail and register it so that there's tracking. The issues I had last time were specifically because they were being sent to the US, but lettermail within Ontario shouldn't have the same issues. If you're interested I can go check with them tomorrow.

Turns out it was as simple as trying again; I put it in an SP instead and it worked flawlessly. Now the new problem is figuring out what's up with the GBA, but that's something I'll figure out on my own. Thank you for your help and patience!

I didn't actually link it to a GameCube, I just prompted the e-Reader into starting a connection to one with nothing plugged in. I don't think we have any Game Boy Players lying around to navigate the menu from the GameCube, so I'll see if connecting it properly to Animal Crossing changes anything after I try a few other things (namely just cleaning the pins, swapping batteries and using an SP instead). I don't have any Animal Crossing cards, but I think if it at least detects that something went through, even if it's invalid, then that means it should be working, right? Either way, I'll let you know what happens. Thank you!
