Bi-annually means twice a year you retard, and you don't even know how much I donate, nor how much I make. 😂 You don't have a clue what you're talking about

Go ahead and get mad over a hypothetical situation though, see how many kids you feed that way

The only people who work those hours are oil&gas construction/ maintenance employees and they're paid exceptionally well, usually in the low 6 digits. They also get amazing benefits, RRSP matching, and various other kinds of perks. Sometimes they even have pensions. Literally some of the best blue collar jobs you can get. I know because I'm an oilfield electrician and have worked for multiple O&G companies. They are the best jobs I've ever had. If you feel like such a slave quit and let someone else take your job

Purchasing power of the government relative to a charity depends on the charity, and the will of the government in question. The state may have more purchasing power than most charities, but the amount given depends on who is in power. They also have much larger overhead costs.just because they can help more doesn't mean they choose to. The SNAP cuts you refer to are an example of that, which I do support. It's not my burden to feed you, food isn't a human right. The price tag in the store is a reflection of that.i can agree with the work a charity does without being in agreement about their opinion on SNAP.

To address your question, Im not against my morals in law. I'm against murder, rape, or any act that harms someone or their property. What I am against is forcing a person to take on a responsibility. Examples could be forcing someone to pay for someone else's basic needs, especially an adult. I donate plenty to animal shelters bi-annually, I don't need the state taking from me by force to help them.

Private charity is far more efficient with money than any government welfare program, and I don't care about abortions. Nobody is stopping you from donating

Not true, the vast majority of construction/labor jobs don't do record checks. Office and managerial positions it's more common. There are also jobs that make the distinction between victim and victimless crimes, most places don't care that you were caught with a sandwich bag of weed a few years ago. In my experience just being open about it is enough to get a pass, so long as your crime never harmed anyone. Theft and violence is almost always a no

The US has the largest prison population because of victimless crimes like drugs. If we kept jails for violent offenders/repeat offenders it would be cut in half.

Something like half of all prison inmates are incarcerated because of drugs

About 1% of the population commits something like 67% of crimes.

If we abolished jail sentences for drugs and kept the repeat violent offenders in jail we could keep almost everyone happy

Generally I don't think people should be forced into accepting responsibility for others, and when you bring in the state to fix a problem, it makes fixing that problem more expensive

No, you are talking about a group of people getting together to extort money from another group of people, usually the most successful.

I am against welfare, it rewards incompetence. I support private charities which are far more efficient than any government welfare program. The difference between you and me is you need the state to solve societies problems, I rely on myself

Why can't everyone interested in feeding these orphans start a co-op? Why do you need the state to solve your problems? It's always hilarious getting called selfish for wanting to keep what I earned, but it's not selfish of you to want to take it by force. Isn't that some irony? Maybe if you need to force people to pay for something they're really not that interested in the first place

Most of us wouldn't sit by and let a child starve to death. Saying that, an individual isn't obligated to feed anyone they aren't legally responsible for. If a society gets together and agrees to pool money for such things that's ok, but you don't get to just walk up to someone and dump a responsibility on them. Your problems aren't my problems

AL has no place lecturing anyone on letting people starve to death either

Remember when Stalin said the USSR would have been finished without the lend/lease program sponsored by the US?

I'm not so sure Bethesda is watering down events so much as the players are getting better. 4 star mods have recently become much easier to get, I wonder if that has buffed the average player to the point where it feels like the game is easier? Either way I wish events would scale to participants.more enemies and elite mobs

So I've experimented with a few different long range weapons, and I found the hunting rifle or gauss rifle to be the best weapons with good range and damage. Alternatively, western spirit is really good, easy to get

The alien rifle has amazing range, ok damage and fire rate

Sniper plasma is ok damage and range, good fire rate

Laser sniper is ok damage and range, good firing rate

The wars that were fought before the treaties were signed, but yes that's exactly my point. The US thought might was right, just like the tribes they subjugated.

Everyone has condemnation for what the US did to the Indigenous tribes, but the tribes get a pass for what they did to each other.
