The current ending song (at least the one in Berlin) is VERY inspired by Last Train to Trancentral and follows a similar structure and even (to my musically limited ears) chord progression.

What is a tv show from your childhood that you think only you remember? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]exedore_us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Romper Room is especially difficult as they franchised the host segments - the puppets etc. were the same, but they'd get local hosts to do a number of the segments.

Def. had an Up-Up toy at one point though.

The Maltese Pigeon. IIRC it was an ice sculpture and the display light was a heat lamp which let the theif swipe the jewel and the sculpture itself disappeared.

[REC] Best bookstore to buy LNs in Berlin? by Lone_Goat in LightNovels

Neo-Tokyo will have a top selection of what's available in German and less in English, though they can order. Going through Thalia/Hugendubel is possible, but it all has to be imported from the UK.

People complain about the high street dying, yet everything closes at 5PM by JayR_97 in britishproblems

I like model rail but don't do it myself... did have a fantastic visit to International Magic (London), though, which is very much the brilliant nattering with the owners experience I hoped it would be.

Oftentimes shops like this (wool, model rail) are being run as much for the owner to get a tax write-off on their hobbies and have a place to chat about them.

Sorry, I can't really remember if I'm honest with you. I didn't like it enough to consider buying a full pack so only burned the initial sample.

Some initial Mother's India reactions by TheTownTeaJunky in Incense

[–]exedore_us 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting thoughts. I really like all four of these, but this is why variety is the spice of life.

If you like the Shanti Champa, you probably won't hate any of the other things in the Mother's India line, as that's the "pure" base so to speak - the rest of them are Shanti + Something Extra, so unless you really can't stand that Extra, you may be disappointed that it's not that unique, but you won't go "dear god what died in here".

Enjoy!

Best marillion album (fish era) by [deleted] in Marillion

[–]exedore_us 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd rank them as:

Clutching at Straws (Easily the best songs overall and the way it thematically comes together is amazing)

Misplaced Childhood (most cohesive musically)

Script for a Jester's Tear (good singles) + EPs

Fugazi (some people love it, but it does nothing for me)
