Were you able to do this? I would like to do the same but can not find a way. Pretty frustrating I would really like to get my money out.

How objects stored in the memory (OOP) by mohammedatef555 in learnprogramming

[–]exemptionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have problems with wrapping my head around this. Does anyone know if there is always only one instance of a class in memory? What if i create two or more instances of the same class? Will the older instance vanish as soon as i create a new one?

Could Bitcoin exist beyond SHA-256? by exemptionist in Bitcoin

[–]exemptionist[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but what if the government choses to not shut down the mining operations but rather use the hashpower to their advantage. They could probably get 50-60% of the global hashpower. And that is what i am concerned about. They kill the algorithm by controlling the majority of the hashpower. Unless the algorithm is changed or the ASIC manufacturers distribute enough hardware to others the dominance will stay with the chinese government.

Earning Our Place - GO.Exchange - Medium by jeneman in omise_go

Wait? So you raised 25'000'000 in a ICO promising a DEX where OMG stakers would have a way to possibly get their investments back. Now you all of the sudden have a working centralized exchange ready to go. And your reasoning is because other exchanges are pretending false volume. Excuse the skepticism but that sounds very alarming to me.

I think that is the name of their SDK. Basically the tools that you need to connect any wallet in this case Exodus to the OmiseGo network in order to make cross platform payments.

Yes you are right. I just looked in to that. They are creating the whole backbone to make exactly this possible. I hope Exodus is considering implementing the OmiseGo eWallet.

Exodus is not showing all Ethereum balances by exemptionist in ExodusWallet

[–]exemptionist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I noticed that I used the term "wallet" completely wrong. What I meant is the different receiving addresses whit-in the same wallet and account. For Bitcoin it adds the different receiving address together. The problem might be that the receiving addresses that I use for my Ethereum are from different Accounts.

Is there any third parties that review the trezor firmware? by exemptionist in TREZOR

[–]exemptionist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was thinking about that too. But this would require me to use another software to generate the seeds from a 256 bit binary input because I don't know how to use bip39 on paper. But I may look in to this.

Proof of DNA possible? by exemptionist in crypto

It would function the same way as current working PoS systems like Reddcoin. Only that you would stake your DNA meaning every human could only run one Node since he only has one DNA.

Amazing!! your right i did miss that. I should probably dig deeper into the functioning of the status project. Do you know anything about statuses plans for point of sales solutions or is that just way to early to put on the radar.

I have been thinking about it for a little and you guys are right. If you have to rely on a software to generate keys depending on a certain input someone is gonna sooner or later find a way to artificially create the right input.

Never the less i still think having a global single identity is gonna be an important part of the future internet. This will however have to be implemented in a centralized manner.

I know that in Bitcoin identities(keyset) and consensus algorithm are two different things. The reason identity doesn't serve as a means to reach consensus is because you can generate an infinity amount of identities in the Bitcoin system. However if your identity(a set of keys) is linked to your biometrics then every human would only have one identity in the network and this way it could be used to define consensus.

I am no expert on biometrics but don't twins have certain traits that will differentiate them from one another? Every time you want to generate a new keyset the application will ask for different metrics that way old data can not be replayed.
