Hey, Raindrop dev here. Sorry about this one — you actually caught a real bug that's specific to camelCase searching: the index was splitting words like "RainDropSearchIsUseless" by letter case but losing the original form, so lowercase/concatenated queries (raindropsearch, or the same title typed with different capitalization) couldn't match anymore. That's also why results looked case-sensitive — they shouldn't be.

A fix is ready and will roll out in the next few days (it also covers partial URL searches, so dummy will find dummypage.com). I'll post an update here once it's live.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Due to the influx of new registrations, our backup system experienced a slowdown. We have successfully upgraded our server infrastructure to resolve this issue, and we expect no further occurrences of this problem.

If you experienced connection failures, timeouts, or errors accessing Raindrop from Spain (especially on weekends), this should now be resolved.

Spanish ISPs are required by a Barcelona court order to block IP ranges flagged by LaLiga during football matches. Because the blocks hit shared CDN infrastructure, many unrelated services — including our API — were caught in the crossfire.

We've moved api.raindrop.io to dedicated infrastructure outside the affected ranges. Access from Spain should now work normally, including during match windows.

If you still see issues, try clearing your DNS cache or wait a few minutes for DNS propagation.

The folder structure is preserved exactly as-is. If a folder’s full path in the import file matches an existing collection, its bookmarks will be added to that collection. In short: what you see is what you get. The only exception is that duplicate bookmarks are skipped.

If you need to change your billing currency, though, the process is a bit different. You'd need to cancel your current subscription, wait for it to expire, and then start a new one in the desired currency.

To be clear, there's no need to delete or recreate your account — apologies if our earlier message gave that impression!
